925 35-20B Mechanical Pencil, 0.08 inch (2 mm), Drafting Mechanical Pencil, All Black

I bought this to replace the one I’ve had since college. It’s perfect in every way. Sits great in my hands. Tip doesn’t break very easily. Looks great. High quality build.

So I just bought this pencil along with the 0.5 mm. I'm not 100% sure why but I'm gravitating towards the .3 mm lately. So before I use the graph gear 1000 drafting mechanical pencil with the retractable nib. This was my go-to as far as everyday drawing. To me I liked the weight but until I got this mechanical pencil I realized that the graph gear 1000 is not balanced. This pencil is incredible. It's absolutely perfect for drawing, it is so well constructed with top grade materials. It has the perfect weight, balance. And even though I say balance, it's has a little more weight towards the business end of it but still feels well balanced in the hand. I've always loved Staedtler shading pencils. I've had them, their racers, their pencil sharpeners. They just put out a phenomenal product and this mechanical pencil follows suit. I'm including picture of my drawing because right after I got this mechanical pencil I started working on this picture from beginning to where it's at right now. I used this pencil along with "H" lead hardness. I love the way this is turning out so far. I've always used 0.5 mm pencils and the past and I may just store them away because I finally got a fantastic 0.3 mm pencil that I know is going to be my number one pencil. I can't say enough good things about this. With the price that it cost me, it's right in the middle of the road between one of the best drafting pencils out there and above the graph gear price. I truly think though that this pencil is worth every penny and they could possibly sell it for more because it's that great of a product.

Perfect for writing my notes. I love writing in pencil, and I think Staedtler produces some very good mechanical pencils. It has a good grip, and the manufacturing material is perfect.

Amazing pencil with good build quality. After a couple drops pencil top can become loose but can be fixed with pliers and light pressure. Great weight, thickness, and knurled grip.

Nice, reliable, consistent. Fatigue resistant.

Very well made. The weight and balance is very pleasing. The metal casing is very high quality. It feels amazing to write/sketch with. Honestly, well worth the price. I ordered a second one of all three sizes for a different pencil hardness lol. My only gripe is that there's no 0.7mm or 0.9mm in the matte black, but it's not a very legitimate one lol - 0.3mm, 0.5mm, and 2mm honestly covers most of the ground for me.

It’s sleek, durable, and has a good weight to it. It all ready comes with pre-sharpen lead which is a plus. I love the black coloring and is probably the best 2mm you will find.

Received in good condition. The .3 of this pencil has been a long time favorite of mine and I finally have the 2.0. Good.

Una preciosidad que da gusto usar. Resolutivo y con buen cuerpo, tiene un diseño que te dejará mirándolo cada dos por tres. La única contra que encuentro es que la punta no es retráctil por lo que hay que tener cuidado con los golpes o quedará inservible. Nada de qué preocuparte si lo guardas en un estuche rígido o si caso de ser mañoso le imprimes un capuchón protector en 3D (incluso los ha ya online). Terminé comprando sus otros dos hermanos del conjunto y ahora son mis portaminas de confianza para pintar en viaje.

Seems like a solid mechanical pencil. I think this is the best you can find in this price range. It gives you a better feeling than the -10 euros mechanical pens available, while not being too expensive. I am satisfied with the color too.

lovely pencil, feels much better in the hand with the clip removed which was getting in the way as I have a habit of spinning pencils, stuck a twisted o-ring on there to stop it trying to run away. Very tactile for an unassuming inanimate object. Lead is strong and has a nice dark line if you need it but a couple more leads would have been nice, I got 3. small scratch on the HB window too but no biggy, the blank space is unmarked so now it's super stealth. no regrets.
