OtterBox Sleek Case, Clear/Black, IPhone 7/8/SE 2020

These cost a bit more than the other offerings but you can understand why when you drop your phone. They are really sturdy and wear well, good for peace of mind and they don’t get tatty they wear nicely.

There are so many phone cases out there to chose from but I just wanted something simple that provided the necessary protection from occasional drops and for when my 5 year old gets her hands on it. I purchased the completely clear version of this for my last SE phone and used it for just over a year and whilst it provided the no frills, no fuss solution to covering my phone, I dropped a star for a couple of reasons that you shouldn't expect from an otterbox. Firstly I keep my phone mostly in my trousers pocket and as a result fluff manages to get in to it and due to the fact it's clear it can be seen on the back and starts to look a bit grubby if not removed and cleaned regularly. Secondly, after several months it started to discolour slightly and towards the end of it's life the overall shape started to mis-form slightly too. So with the cons mentioned above you may ask why I bought another, it's simple, it works for what it is and for an otterbox isn't that expensive on Amazon, so if this one lets the fluff in I'll just have to regularly de-fluff it too and buy another replacement in a year or so if necessary.

Good case, fits to size

Otterbox prodicts are generally very good, this is no exception. Protection is much less than a proper otterbox protection case, but this is much less invasive and keeps the size of the device sleek. Nice splash of colour to keep my phone unique to the rest of the office company phones. See-through rear case, keeps that famous fruit in sight. Slightly raised edge from the coloured band to the front does protect the screen from scratches if placed face down on a flat surface. It is millimetres, but that is enough for the desk/office environment. Worth every penny

Good - fits well, offers the degree of protection desired. Bad - in less than 3 months the ‘clear’ plastic had turned yellow, by 6 months it was yucky brown. At just over 12 months it fell apart at the seams! No other OtterBox case I have used in the past has performed so poorly. It arrived in a plastic wrap branded ‘OtterBox commercial products’, not the usual consumer packaging. All of which makes me suspicious if this is a cheap knock-off?

I don't very often write reviews, and this is a belated one, however I feel it's important to share how brilliantly this case protected my phone this last week when I....accidentally dropped it into a bucket of fence paint. My heart sank harder than the phone into the thick paint. I grabbed it out (paint everywhere) and hurried inside. I rinsed the paint off. I separated the phone case from the phone itself. I had a bit of paper tucked between the phone and the case - it survived intact, not a sign of paint or water damage. I'd been playing a podcast through the phone; it kept playing all the while. The vulnerable point was the charging socket, which thankfully seems to have sustained no damage. But I swear to god, without this case, my phone would likely have come off the worse. As it is, the phone is still working absolutely as it was before, and I blame/thank this phone case. 10/10, highly recommended!

This case has lasted less than 6 months and the rubber side has come unstuck from the plastic back. Either this model is poorly designed or the quality has dropped because I previously had an Otterbox that lasted years and saved my phone when it was run over by a car

Nonostante la struttura solida, la custodia è sorprendentemente comoda da tenere in mano e non aggiunge troppo ingombro al dispositivo. Consiglio la custodia Otterbox a chiunque voglia una protezione affidabile e di qualità per il proprio iPhone. Un investimento che vale ogni centesimo!

Es una funda transparente, pero no como cualquiera. Los bordes son blandos y resistentes, con el grosor justo para una buena protección, y la parte de atrás es de plástico duro que no amarillea (después de muchos meses de uso). No hay una marca tan protectora y de mejor calidad-precio que Otterbox. Sin duda volvería a comprarla.

These are very nice but do not last they get loose and they discolor which is a shame !!
