I purchased this hair clipper set to replace another brand that was becoming frustrating due to aging battery technology. This new clipper set is excellent. After oiling, it becomes quiet and enjoyable to use. It delivers sharp cuts and effortlessly handles my hair. The battery life is strong, meeting exactly what I needed. I hope it lasts for a long time.

Said it needed 2hrs charging from delivery- charged in 1.Absolutely EXCELLENT first use - smoother and quieter than my old clippers. Nice ergonomic design- comfortable and solid in the hand. On/off switch looks like a bit of an afterthought, but doesn't seem to get in the way 🤔

I've had many clippers over the years. In fact I haven't paid to have my hair cut since 1985. Always cutting my own. This is my 3rd set of Whal cutters. And Always find them good value. I purchased an unbranded pair 6 months ago. And after the 3rd cut they gave up. So decided to go back to these. They aren't the lightest around, but they are very well made. The clip on guides are as good as any other medium priced clippers. It's only the very smallest ones that are prone to flexing. And that's more down to the fact they are so small. So unless you want a very short cut, it's not a problem. And most other makes are the same anyway. The clippers are nice and sharp, with no snagging etc. For the price they are very good value. I have only cut my hair once so far. But if anything like my other Whal's I'm sure they'll last a long time. My only real gripe, is the thickness of the charger lead. It seems much too thick a grade of cable, and double the thickness of any I have had before. See photo with a Bic pen for comparison. I appreciate I'm not an electrician. But as I've said I've had loads of these things, and never known this cable gauge before. In all very good.

I selected these hair clippers for their capacity to be used while wired as a pass-through and wirelessly.The selection of attachments is nice and the clipper-heads feel robust and not likely to snap and break easily which is a huge bonus, the hair clippers are efficient and don't generate much heat at all even after 40 minutes going over my large melon to make sure i got every little last hair trimmed accordingly.The charging indicator light is nice to prevent overcharging, the bag provided to store the clippers and everything in is very handy so you don't lose bits and bobs.For £50 i'm very happy with the purchase, being able to taper your own hair and trim it by yourself is a huge bonus over other hair clippers like my 10 year old phillips clippers, I'd highly recommend this hair clipper set to anyone, it's a great gift or upgrade/replacement for worn or old clippers, I recommend you purchase a bottle of wahl hair clipper oil as the provided oil sample will run out quickly and you can buy it as a combo with the set for a few quid more.10/10 clippers, very good solid purchase, no regrets.

What I like about this one is the ability to fine tune your taper/fade edges. Especially these taper ears guards. Making your home hair cut equivalent to a barber saloon.And the battery life lasts for ages. Had a different brand before with nickel battery instead of lithium battery that hardly lasted more than 30 minutes. I would imagine you can go for 2 hair cuts with this Wahl clipper on a single charge.Came with all accessories as described, and a UK 3 pin charger, no need to worry about unnecessary power adapters.Highly recommend it, it will pay for itself in just 2 haircuts.

I've tried cordless clippers a couple of times in the past and was let down by battery life and also crucially lack of power. This can result in tedious uneven cuts and can also be quite painful as when there's not enough power, clippers can pinch and tug on hair rather than cleanly cutting.So I've tended to stick with more reliable corded clippers instead. Usually either Wahl or Babliss.My current set was getting old and a little dull, so needed to replace. Felt like maybe it was time to give cordless another go, see how the technology had progressed.To my delight these are leagues ahead of anything cordless I've tried in the past.I'm still on the first factory charge after 2 full head sessions and a couple of beard trims.In use they feel exactly like using a wired set in turns of power and cutting.Of course with the added bonus of being much more convenient and comfortable to use.They are lighter than a standard wired set, but still weighty enough not to feel too plastic and flimsy.They come in a decent zip up bag and loads of different grades etc.Not too many negatives.If anything the only annoying thing is there are so many included attachments, that it can be a pain to find the one you want in the bag (I mean does anyone actually use the slanted left and right ear grades or the '1/2' grade?BUT as you can tell I'm really having to search for something to moan about. :)All round a quality set of clippers.
