Cheaply made
Made in China, bags feel cheap and thin. Would not recommend!!!!!!! To expensive for what you get. I will pay the extra money for AMERICAN Made items.

rock solid
Filled the regular bags with part bird seed and finished them with play sand. The vice grip bag I filled completely with play sand. I took the X7 to the range and zeroed my rifle with 12 shots. This system holds the rifle very solid and definitely reduces felt recoil. This was the first time my 338 win mag didn't hurt me on the bench. The guy next to me at the range using a mechanical rest was having problems and borrowed my X7, no more problems zeroed his rifle quickly.

leaks sand through the stitching, even though it's guaranteed not to leak
The media could not be loaded. While I like the idea of this system, and it seems like it will work well, the vice grip bag leaks play sand from the sewn seams on the ends....even though there's a guarantee that states it doesn't leak. Without thinking I contacted the manufacturer, and while they did reply promptly, they wanted me to empty the bag and pay for shipping back to them before sending me a new one. This is a hassle and expense I didn't care for, so I contacted Amazon support, and within minutes they had a confirmation that I'd have a new set of bags out in 2 days (they couldn't just send me the piece I needed). However, I received the replacement, and there is a spot where the seam is already coming apart. I won't waste the time even trying to fill this one, so I'll have to return that. The rest of the bags I filled with plastic bead media, so those won't be leaking and seem fine...just the play sand that works out of the seams when handling. If you can handle a little bit of sand leaking out when you handle it, it will probably be fine, but this is unacceptable to me. I may try another replacement before giving up, but I'll be stuck with $50 of fill media I can't return.Update 2/19/15:I was convinced that bag #3 would still leak play sand, so I purchased $20 of aquarium gravel (about pea sized). This weighed 18% less than the play sand, but still seemed to work to hold rifles in the vice grip bag. I used this because the gravel is too large to leak through the seams. So This was about $65 worth of fill media on this and return hassles, even though Amazon support was great (but the manufacturer's support was not so great). I added a video of the sand leaking from the seems of the vice grip bag.

Disappointed, poor customer support.
I wanted to like these bags. I did not care for the hyperbole marketing on the manufacturer's website, but gave the bags a try.Pro:Versatile if you don't want to use the bag all assembled.Cons:Seams started parting when I filled it.Would not hold my firearm (A Remington 788, in .308) in place.Hard to fully fill do to the way the fill flaps are partially blocked inside.Very poor customer support.I filed all the bags with kitty litter as the website suggested and the "vice" bag with sand. I had a great deal of trouble getting the bag to hold up my rifle and would need to adjust the bag after every shot.I contacted the manufacturer and asked for pointers as to what I might be doing wrong (I assumed my problems were user error, still think it may have been), I was first just give marketing spiel that did not pertain to the bags I purchased.I was told about a 10 year old that gets sub-MOA using a .308. Great for him, most like a better shot than am I.One reply was "While I have never been approved by any owners in the X7 design, that were experiencing your difficulty level... except when not used correctly . . ", I wondered what was "correctly" for a system marketed for its versatility.I was asked with what I filled the bags and their weight, then subjected to more marketing of the "pro series". Given my answer I was told that I used the "wrong brand" of kitty litter. I filled the bags till some of them started to rip at the seams. In the end I returned the bags (thanks Amazon for a great return policy).I replaced the bags with Dog-Gone-Good bags.I was able to purchase a Large bench bag and a Wedge rear bag for less money then the X-7 bags. They are well made and made in the USA with a lifetime warranty. The only down side of the Dog-Gone-Good bag is that they are not sold on Amazon.Don Scott (owner of Dog-Gone-Good bags) was very helpful.

X7 Bulls Bag
After comparing and looking at rifle sleds for several months, I determined this was the way to go. Am happy with purchase, but feel they need better instructions and guides than what they send with the product. Would have been much better to label each bag (with a tag) 1-7 or A-G and then stated, i.e. "place bags 2&3 into 1" or "A & B into C", etc, than to have sideview pictures of the bags when filled, very difficult to tell since bag profiles look so much alike. Still not sure if have it right (3 people have looked and have 2 different opinions). Other than that, this works excellent. Liked it because it has so many configurations including handgun. Plus, have heard nothing bad about this system and nothing but good.

The Real Deal
I just received mine today, took my time and filled it with Purina Cat Litter like the instructions said. It took about 30 pounds of litter to do the job. It isn't hard to see why it is probably the Best shoot platform on the market. I put my AR on it and it stayed right where I put it. This thing is solid and is not made cheap. Great Product

Great Shooting Bags
While they are a little heavy once you've filled all the bags, I really like the versatility of them and the way they store inside of each other. The shoulder strap makes them easy to carry. They work great and I would definitely recommend.
