There's no reason to live with poorly equipped lift gates or rear windows when you can buy these, pop them on and restore your door or window operation to like new. I bought a set for my 07 jeep commander, the back lift gate is very heavy, and the rear glass hasn't opened fully in years. In 5 minutes, including the time it took to remove the old ones, these four were installed and both door and window were able to pop open to full, like they did when we bought the truck.

It's nice that the seller offered the flipper glass and liftgate lift supports as a set. Made it easy to get what I needed at an affordable price. Removal and installation was straightforward. Works great. Be aware that the flipper glass will pop open quickly - lots of power in these supports - so keep your face, or someone else's face, away from it when opening it either remotely or with the button on the liftgate. It does have a dampening effect when opening, which is a plus.The liftgate opens with more authority now. One side effect is it requires more 'oomph' when trying to close it manually (My '08 Commander does not have the auto-open/close liftgate option so I can't attest to how it works in this manner). Overall I am very satisfied.

This product is awesome, from the moment the package arrive to the completion of the installation took 10 minutes. I would say it took me longer to find my keys than to take the old ones out ant put these in.

Oh yes these will do just fine. In fact do not have your head over rear window when opened. It does come up quick. But also in a controlled manner. I have no complaints.

It fits my 07 Jeep Commander perfectly. I'm going to buy more for my 09 Jeep Grand Cherokee. No more holding up the glass or the gate with one hand.

N the picture the longer 1s appear slightly longer. However, that was deceiving. & It stated they wood fit my vehicle. That was deceiving also.. aka, thanks for only halfway helping me to replace old 1s..
