V2.0 Float Tube Rod Holder, Pontoon Boat, Cup, Net, Accessory Holder

First of I love to fish, I like to be close to the water I'm a float tube guy! purchased my first float tube about 4 years back. Always had a problem with my poles, Sure enough I heard about CASTMATE Systems from a forum. I purchased mine and I had the best experienced with it as I could. I can now troll and fish at the same time, there's many different ways to use this but personally I throw a trolling swim bait while I'm casting towards the shore peddling smooth and full throttle you can easily handle 2 fish with this system. I would def recommend for any float tuber out there!

To make this system work, there are a lot of adjustments that could be captured better and dealt with in the YouTube videos linked on their site. Once it is set up, works great, but fly rods need special attention and all need a tether which should be included considering the price of the system. I am using this on my Cumberland Classic. I would recommend looking at the Caddis rod holders. They are much more flexible than the Castmate, and yet, a ton of tubes have this rig, more than any other I have seen so I got one just to see. I also have a Caddis Nevada and would never consider putting this on that boat.

Picked this up my float tube last week. I gotta say that I'm really impressed. The entire rig is light as hell, but is also long enough to distribute weight evenly. It also looks pretty freaking awesome! The rig looks like anodized aluminum, and the holders are a nice deep dark blue almost black.As far as assembly it's pretty effortless. There are literally less than 8 screws that you can put on with you common size Phillips head screw driver. In fact, it takes longer to decide where u want everything than it does to assemble. So many options!Live this thing, and is an essential piece of gear management for any tuber!

I purchased two of the CastMate V2.0 tackle management systems for my float tubes and am thrilled with the quality of the product and the customer service. I ordered 2 cup holders as well as two tackle tables to go on the CastMates so we are set to go. I already have them mounted on the float tubes and hope to get on the water soon to try them out.
