My Dad's Cookies Gluten Free Coconut Chocolate Cookies 6oz Package18

These gluten free NYC-style black and white cookies are hard to find locally, however so I was happy to see them on Amazon. I ordered three containers of them, as I know they don't last around our house! They arrived very quickly and in good condition - none broken! However they did seem quite dry. A classic black & white cookie is supposed to be soft and tender, these are more appropriate for dunking in coffee. I don't hate them but I was disappointed they weren't moist and tender.

Best gluten free cookie ever! I have tried every gf cookie I can find and these are by far the best. Packaging adds to the perfection because they never crumble and the raspberry filling stays put. Worth every cent! My non-gf family members love these too which is a bit of a problem for me, lol!!

I ordered two types of the My Dad's cookies, the Chocolano and the Black and Whites. The Chocolano arrived slightly squished, one of the cookies pretty much shattered, and this was with quite a lot of packing material around it!As for the cookies themselves, I was pretty underwhelmed. The Black and Whites were OK. Not great, but decent enough that I'll eat them. There is a bit of grit to them, which reminded me a bit of something made with corn flour, even though there's none listed in the ingredient list but the flavor is decent enough that it can be ignored.The Chocolano, however, have an odd taste that makes them too unpleasant to eat. The cinnamon in the chocolate cream overpowers, giving the entire cookie a cinnamon taste that made me not want to eat any more than one bite.These cookies are not at all worth the $8 price tag. There are so many better gluten free cookies out there.

Did not taste as expected. The icing was too sweet and the cookie did not taste like a fresh sugar cookie. The chocolate icing was not that cocoa taste that I expected. It tasted more like cheap chocolate. I love the black and white cookies in Manhtan, Ny. I guess I expected too much.. I did not eat them. Some of the cookies were crumbled indicating either bad delivery or stale cookies. My neighbor said she liked them okay. She admitted never had a black and white cookie.

I LOVE raspberry linzers, but since my celiac diagnosis, have never been able to find GF raspberry linzer cookies. When I saw these I jumped to buy them based on the reviews. They are absolutely so delicious. I have frozen them and just have one or 2 as a very special treat. Love them!!

I purchase these cookies as OFTEN as I can!!! You cannot buy these in a store or I'd buy them out!! Gluten-free, plump, delicious vanilla cookies with black and white icing which is not nasty sugary, but delicately sweet and divine. Seriously, these are divine. I pour a glass of water and eat every blessed one before the grandchildren come home because they are mine -all mine! Yeah, they're THAT good!

It's nice to have black and white cookies again. You miss a lot when you have celiac. The cookies are small. About the size of silver dollar pancakes. The cookie part is just like the originals. The vanilla frosting is sweet and good. The chocolate frosting is a bittersweet type. Not what the real b/w cookies have. It is a little surprise when you taste that. Not sure why they did that.Overall I love them.

These are the best gluten-free black and whites I have been able to find. As a native New Yorker, I have eaten pastries from some of the best bakeries in the country :) When I had to go gluten-free, I tried a lot of not so great baked goods. These are the closest to the regular ones that I could find. They are a little pricey, so I only get them for special occasions when I want to have dessert with everyone else.
