Lovely little musical instrument. You don’t need to be a musician, read music or have any particular skills to play this. It sounds lovely. Gave as a gift to an adult family member who I thought was stressed. I’m sure it’s helped relieve tension. Looks great on the shelf too. Kids love to play on it and it’s been used loads

This instrument makes a beautiful rich sound even as a beginner. I found using the sticks gave the best sound. Even sounds good when my children play it! The carry case is robust and very useful for protection. I like that you can play this by ear and don't need to sight read music.

Wow! I have only just got into steel tongue drums and yes, this is cheap. It is a cheap, accessible and mass produced steel tongue drum at a budget price. And you know what? That’s okay! Yes, other drums can and DO sound much better than this one. BUT for 49 pounds, this is absolutely worth every penny. Every note sounds lovely, and as someone with no musical talent this is such a fun instrument for improvised and relaxed play. Just hit whatever notes you like and enjoy. One thing though - you can’t really easily use your hands with this unless you use your fingernails! Maybe it’s my technique? I don’t know! But the mallets, when hit lightly against each section, produce in the drum a beautiful sound! Genuinely so pleased with this as I’m a school teacher and definitely going to use this with my class for mindfulness practice!

I'm pretty sure that I was sent a drum that had been returned by someone else - the number stickers were already stuck on (in the wrong places.) I will have to write the numbers on instead. It seems okay other than that - you get what you pay for & this wasn't expensive.

This is a beautiful drum bought it for my 5 year old, he’s had it for over a year and he still loves it. I do too. It sounds lovely. Well made comes with a little music book. The drum sticks are made of wood and very well made. It also has rubber finger drummers. Love this little drum.

Always loved the sound of the handpan/hang drum so when I saw this I thought why not as price seemed right. As a musician (piano) I am quite pleased with the tone. If I am to be picky the Bb seems slightly out of tune, but I mean slight. The mallets are tiny but have a nice rubber to them. The stand is flimsy but can't complain, since I didn't buy this product just for that. Kinda wish the blue finish had been available for some price, but am satisfied with the gold. Looking forward to practicing and hopefully playing for others some day. UPDATE: After three weeks I am noticing that the finish is developing some spots? Seems to be reacting to something in the environment.

Nothing not to dislike , the right size and amazing sound - great to create a mood

Love these! I bought 2 and took a chance they would get here from China in time for Christmas. I ordered them November 12 and they arrived 1 month later exactly. The seller is honest about possible arrival dates with an arrival range of 3 weeks, probably due to being sent via ship to the USA and then has to go through customs so plan ahead. Great beginner type tongue drum. My only disappointment is the finger picks should be harder so you can get more volume and clearer sound with them. They are so soft that I barely make a sound and it isn't crisp. I had to hit the drum pretty hard with the picks and still it was half or less of the volume you get with the sticks. My grandsons will enjoy these!!! Very pleased overall.

Two of the notes aren’t working. There must be a dent or something that is making them not work. The mallets are pretty cheap. Overall, not worth the money.
