These decrease static eliminating the need for dryer sheets. The drying time is reduced somewhat. Product is worth the money. May help remove dryer sheets from landfills. Like the added bonus of adding a scent to the dryer ball. Will help eliminate another waste product from trash stream.

Really sweet little wool balls to give as a gift. Happy with product, swiftness of delivery, and function of eliminating chemicals from clothing. Win win!

These worked fine, I only purchased them for the donation value. However, I do think that they were a bit over priced.

These balls are not really taking the wrinkles out. I still need to add the fabric softener sheet.

I purchased these as a gift for my mom's birthday --- while dryer balls might not seem exciting to most, they were one of the few things she could actually use but likely never think about buying herself. And, honestly, how many "great gifts" end up in closets or attics because the person never finds a place to hang that picture and the beautiful, specialty dishware ends up stored with the wedding china that comes out once a year?!But selecting wool dryer balls isn't as easy as you'd think because every brand touts catch phrases like "Eco-friendly" and "non-toxic" along with the lure of 100% Australian/New Zealand sheep wool.....so why not just buy the least expensive version with hundreds of reviews, right?Wrong --- at least, that's what I decided after comparing dozens of them. For me, I liked what purchase of the Friendsheep product supports (all items are handcrafted in Nepal and check out their website for details of the incredible program), the attention to detail down to the fabric bag that comes with the dryer balls (& great to use to store them), and I ended up a fan of the sheep/stars design choices on the balls for the practical reason that if/when a dryer ball ends up rolling off somewhere in the house, it's easy to tell the dryer ball from any dog toys, etc which means it probably won't get thrown out like the stray dog balls tend to. And, an added bonus with the purchase was a $5 credit to use on future purchases from Friendsheep.Dryer balls definitely cut down your drying time which my mom loves along with the added bonus of static control --- all the benefits of dryer sheets she gave up years ago!

We cloth diapered our children years ago and I had read back then about the virtues of vinegar in place of fabric softener and the magic of dryer balls. I hate the smell of vinegar and...dryer balls in place of my decades-long relationship with Downy?!? Really??? Nope. I wasn't sold and passed.Fast-forward several years. Our old washer was replaced with an HE washer and the laundry trouble began slowly to rear it's ugly head. In desperation, we reverted back to the cloth diapering laundry routine. Vinegar? Dryer balls? Voodoo? Dunk-n-swish? Black magic? Insence and saiances? Yep, we were all-in!These dryer balls are fantastic and do everything they claim, and other reviewers backed up. I can't compare them to other dryer balls since these are my first. But, we dumped the tide and the Downy and went back to the green detergent we used for the diapers and tried the vinegar and dryer balls combo. We're converts.Yes, you can hear them knocking around softly in the dryer. The additional noise is hardly noticeable. Zippers hitting the dryer are many, many times louder. As long as you don't overcook your laundry, there is almost no static. Synthetic fabrics will always cause more static trouble. I haven't had these long enough to speak to the long-term effects on our laundry. Clothes are definitely getting dryer faster. Right now, I am really happy.If you aren't having any misgivings with your current laundry routine, then these (or any) balls probably won't do much for you. However, if you are looking to change things up, then I highly recommend these! It also does make me happy that I have been able to switch to a more environmentally-friendly way to get laundry done well.

So far so good. They are holding their shape, unlike some other dryer balls I have used in the past and no lint balls. So far I am happy with my purchase.

After researching how toxic dryer sheets are, I ended up purchasing these on a wim. I am so glad I did! Clothes are more soft, fresh, and after adding a couple essential oil drops, smell heavenly. I also feel heaps better using these over dryer sheets. Highly highly recommend.

The order arrived before the expected date! This was our first time using this product so we really didn’t know what to expect. It was extremely well-packaged and came with a couple sets of well-written instructions for usage. The six wool balls themselves have a look and feel of exceptional high quality and are quite solid. We were excited to use them and, after studying the instructions, did so with three balls almost immediately. We were not disappointed with the positive effect on our clothes, bed sheets, and towels: drying time was significantly reduced ... no static cling ... absolutely no wrinkles ...! We did add a few drops of essential oil (Brazilian orange mist) to the remaining three balls in a load containing our gym apparel and WOW what a great change from the astringent chemical stink of the dryer sheets that we had been using for the past 40+ years!! We have lots of different kinds of oils and are looking forward to experimenting with them. In summary ... these wool dryer balls are most excellent and highly recommended!!

I’ve had the plastic dryer balls and cheaper wool versions but my goodness are these worth the price. I instantly had buyers remorse after purchasing thinking I just wasted money but after they arrived, I’m so pleased. The essential oils work great for leaving a nice scent but to be honest I don’t mind the smell of just the wool itself.I toss 3 in with each load and my laundry has dried so much quicker with these. Customer service has also been exceptional - they checked in a week after receiving to make sure the product was as described and if there were any complaints.Definitely worth it
