Superb stuff. VERY tough once fully cured. Saved me buying new boots.
I used this to repair the worn split pigskin suede which covers the steel toecaps in my workboots. I applied two coatings allowing about 12 hours for the first coat to dry sufficiently. This stuff will run and drip before it dries if the coating is too thick, so apply thin coats and don’t worry about an uneven looking surface as it’s self-levelling. If I’d used thinner coats then I would have used three coats. As it comes out of the tube it does string a little, so lay down an old newspaper on your worksurface, and use tape and paper to mask off the areas you don’t want glue going. It takes about 48 hours at ambient room temperature to fully harden, before that it seems tacky and soft but once cured it’s very tough stuff indeed. Make absolutely sure that the surface you apply it to is totally clean and degreased; I used isopropyl alcohol (IPA) followed by brake cleaner spray, but the IPA alone would probably have been sufficient. The tube comes with a disposable applicator brush, but if you peel the semi-cured glue off before it hardens it’s reusable at least once. It also comes with a pair of disposable gloves, and I strongly advise wearing them as this glue is not safe for skin contact. There was plenty of glue left over so to preserve its remaining lifespan I’ve popped it into my deep freezer where I also keep my cyanoacrylate superglues.

Brilliant item
Best bond ever. Repaired shoes trainers and wellies amongst many other things. It’s not cheap but it works so well worth the price

Works but not forever
I needed a quick solution for my wellies as was about to go on holiday and this was perfect. Arrived fast, overnight glue and shoe holes were sealed. It didnt look great and so I’d recommend checking online before doing it. After a few uses the holes came back BUT this may be due to my poor adhesion skills.

The best glue I've ever used! 5 stars
Finally a proper glue which will do the job, had a quite expensive pair of burberry trainers that was starting to open a gap between the rubber and the fabric after go up 3 mountains in north wales, this glue as a magic, really solid bond now, better than when it was new, safe me a fortune, really recommend!

The Best!
I've used this for a number of years and never found it to fail. Very easy to use but obviously best to be well prepared before starting the job! Many a pair of boots and walking shoes have had their life extended by rebuilding heels and soles or mending uppers. I always keep it in the freezer between uses and find effectively makes it last very much longer than if kept at room temperature.

Not bad glue
The glue is quite thick, bonds ok, and repair will last a few months, the glue does peel eventually so it’s not permanent

Finally a decent product
Used to glue 2 pairs of boots. Absolutely fantastic, the glue is lasting. Drying time is short so you need to work quickly, the brush supplied is a bit too wide for neat work, just wipe the excess off immediately. Would buy again
