It's a friendly cymbal
Been using an Earth Ride from the 70s for 5 yrs--think of Quasimodo's baneful tower bells.This is a beautiful new sound in the atmosphere.I likes to play the funk, and it ain't bad for that, cat!

Paiste Medium Ride
I bought this cymbal to replace a Zildjian ride that I found to be roughly 45 years old at this point and was starting to sound a little dull. The Paiste Medium ride definitely has a bright sound and the bell cuts nicely. Paiste's website has recordings of all their cymbals and due to the high standard of crafting, the sound you hear from the Sound Room is exactly the real cymbal sound.
