Good fun toys that look great!
Great toys. Sturdy. My 3.5 year old has since he was 2 and still in good shape. Sometimes arms or legs pop of but they are meant to do so and easily snap back on. This saves the toy from actually breaking. Perfect replicas of the tv show. The tv show introduces a different country each episode. Combine your kids play with looking at a globe to teach geography. Small kids will need adult help to transform but still fairly simple except for Jerome who seems to be more difficult but we have the see through x ray version of this toy so might be different than normal version. This review is about the large 5 inch versions. The smaller scale ones are cool to fit into the robot suits these are more flimsy and we have the very large jet robot suit which is also more flimsy but still doesn't break and will easily snap back together if an arm or leg pops off. Very satisfied with these toys and have every character now.

Excellent quality. Favorite birthday gift
My 2 yr old son LOVES this!! He can transform him himself. It is super sturdy and well-made. He threw it in the pool during his sister’s swim lesson, then jumped in after it. That was a disaster, as that meant I had to go in too to save his life. BUT I’ll have you know, that even though my clothes, and his clothes didn’t come out as if nothing had happened, Donny did. It doesn’t have stickers to ruin, its all painted on with quality paint. If anything, the swim did Donny some favors getting him clean. My son insists on having him in his high chair WITH him as he eats, and he even tries to feed Donny at times. I guess Donny needed a bath haha! I sure didn’t though. This toy is a best friend and has held up as such. The arms do pop off easily, as others have mentioned. But they also go back on as easily as they came off. Only worry is that they might get lost. We also own Jet from the same company, who is just as great of quality, just a tad more difficult to transform. Jet may be the main character, but Donny quickly became the favorite toy he owns somehow.

Good Size for Small Hands, Good Quality
UPDATE: We've now owned this toy for over a year and it is still a favorite, both of the now-3yo and his 6yo and 7yo brothers. They have popped the legs and arms off many, many times, but they still go back in. It's withstood hours upon hours of play, being thrown, dropped, and stepped on, and is still intact. I bought this to use on top of my 2-year-old's birthday cake and it was the perfect size to top a 9" round cake. It quickly became his favorite toy and he's played with it pretty much every day for the last 6 weeks - it's been dropped, thrown, and knocked off the bed in the middle of the night. He can't quite transform Donnie from plane to "robot" himself, so the arms have been popped off a few times, but they pop right back on and still function just fine. If you're worried about a toddler who still puts things in his/her mouth, I would probably skip this because the arms are able to come off like that, but if your little one is past that stage, I think it's a great size for small hands and sturdily made. My older two (5 and 6) are able to transform it without help.

Great and fun toy, fairly sturdy but some caution will help longevity
This Mira toy, like the several others my son has, are really great. They are built with pretty sturdy plastic. Some of the transformation probably requires a little bit of grownup assistance depending on the child's age but other parts they can do on their own. The arms do have a bit of a tendency to pop off but can very easily be popped back on. The legs have a little bit of an issue where they also can pop off if your kids play rough like mine. The issue is when you pop them back on they are loose. Not awesome but it is what it is. But they can be played with in the bath and overall provide great enjoyment so I still recommend these as a great investment for kids who love SuperWings. We deliver!

Nicely designed transforming airplane/robot toy
Got this for my 5 year old as a 'graduation' from pre-school gift. He has been watching Super Wings Series 1 avidly for a couple of weeks and Donnie is his favorite character, partly because yellow is his favorite color, and partly because Donnie is the builder/engineer. 5" tall with the legs extended, 2.5" when folded up. To get the legs out push the tail down and they pop right out. There's just enough mechanical transforming to make my son happy, without it being too complex. In airplane mode there are three small fold down wheels for landing. This seems as robust as I would expect for a 5" plastic toy that cost around $10. It woudl certainly take some effort to break parts off. The only problem is we didn't get something for our nearly 3 year old at the same time, so there were a few tantrums. Lesson learned, and we have a Paul on order to arrive in a couple of days for him.
