I took some themed birthday photos of my 1 year old son, we did a little baker photoshoot with cakes and a bowl of flour with a wooden spoon. This was perfect, it was such an easy costume and very cute too. I bought this along with an $8 baby chef hat and just put some black pants on him, I took some really great photos with the chef costume, it was cheap and easy and the best part is that I will get use out of this in the future since it is a bib, which is great!

Great craftsmanship. Was bought as a Halloween costume, but she is using it for dress up now, as well. It will surely last beyond when she outgrows the outfit. Could not be more pleased.

Now practical – these are made of very soft breathable and lightweight material that is both water and stain repellent. These bibs cover not just the front but the sides and back. The pictures that go with the description are accurate. The flip-forward crumb pocket is ingenious and either way it’s worn -with or without flipping up the pocket - the costume aspect of the outfit stays the same. Also, you just put it into the washing machine and hang it up to dry. Besides being comfortable, they are adjustable with spandex cuffs and a no-snag Velcro neckline that can adjust approximately 3 ½” – so it will continue to be a comfortable fit as our grandson grows. The product description states it fits from 6 months to 3 years – the container that the bib came in states 1T – 3T for size (29” – 39”). Since toddlers can vary so much in size, I’d buy it as soon as you can so your child / grandchild can get as much wear and fun from it as possible! It’s still a little big for our seven month old grandson, but we can’t wait until it will fit him! Now he’ll be able to switch between being a chef or a firefighter! These are really fun!! We actually purchased two for our 2year old to play dress up and to help cook in the kitchen/crafts. He loves to help cook and this chefs cover is perfect! I was looking for a small boys apron, but this is better. I wish i had known about these when my boys were smaller. My two year old is average size and it fits well, but the sleeves just fit and will probably be a tad short in a few months. He loves it though and with the nice fabric around the wrists of the sleeves it's no problem to pull the sleeves up, so he will use this much longer. The length is wonderful and I love that it can fold up to catch stuff if we want. He's older so we don't use that feature as much. Honestly, the quality of fabric and the design is so wonderful he uses his chef and astronaut cover as dress up often and wears them for hours. I love this bib! My daughter just turned 2 and it fits her perfectly. It is lightweight but it feels very well made. It folds up small and I usually carry it in my purse when we eat out, as my daughter makes a mess of epic proportions whilst at public restaurants. It is waterproof and does a great job of covering her entire upper body and protecting her clothing. Regular bibs have started bothering her for some reason and she just rips them off, but she actually seems to enjoy wearing this. I wasn't sure if it was washable or not, as the packaging wasn't very clear, but the tag inside of the garment says it is, indeed washable, but to hang dry. I usually just wipe/rinse it off and then throw it in the washing machine at the end of the week. I like that the Velcro closure is the more firm, plastic type that doesn't catch on my daughter's hair or the other clothing in the wash.I received this item at a discount for my unbiased and honest review, but I intend to go back and buy another at full price because my kid (and me!) loves it!
