They are cloth, and don't fit tightly like vinyl or latex gloves. Or perhaps I have particularly short fingers. I'm not sure they would be especially helpful for handling currency and coins.

They will for small hands, but they fall apart quickly. They are not sewed, they are glued.

Q: Are these 100% cotton? thats extremely important bc synthethetics will melt into skin if it's not. what percentage of cotton is this fabric?

Hell no! On top of that, they are cheap. They fall apart and look and feel like they are hot glued/melted together. I threw a pair away because the seams were so itchy. I hope this helps! 🙂

Q: Will they protect skin on hands that is very thin

They were great for what I used them for. I wore them when wood burning to protect my hands from the heat or accidental burns. They are very soft and I believe could be used for protection from the cold as well. They are very snug fitting though if this is an issue.
