Richardson Seating Handle Back Chrome Diner Chair with 1" Pulled Seat, Cracked Ice Gray

We bought four to replace some very old, original, 50s cafe chairs. The chairs were shipped quickly. They are sturdy and very nice appearance. One of the chairs though, has an indention where "maybe" the foot of another chair pressed into it during shipping??? Another chair rocks. We have tried to adjust the feet on the rocking chair but it still rocks a bit. Hopefully the indention will pop out in time. Also hopefully, we will figure out a way (other than sticking a matchbook under it, LOL) to stop the chair from rocking.

I bought this chair for my vanity because it looks like the ones my parents had when I was a kid, and also it was the only one that would fit in the space between the drawers. I'm not a small person (no, I'm not putting my weight out there on the internet), and I also have arthritis so I sometimes drop into a chair rather than lowering myself gracefully like I did when I was younger. The chair doesn't seem to be stressed by catching my bottom this way.I feel secure and there is no wobbling at all. I usually sit in it long enough to put on my makeup, which is sometimes simple but other times more fussy. I imagine the longer makeup time is similar to a regular meal at a table, and for this it's comfortable enough, even though it's somewhat narrower than I am where contact is made. The appearance is very nice, not cheap looking at all. It actually looks like it was made back in the period it reflects. Very pleased, may buy another.

I have the vintage table, but no chairs. These were perfect. The color was a bit darker yellow, but the table is vintage, so it's a bit faded.

My husband had a 50's chrome table with the cracked gray surface that was from his childhood home. It had been out in his hunting trailer for years but was in good shape. We decided to bring it to our 50's vintage house, clean it up and order these chairs to go with it as the original chairs were long gone. The color and crackle pattern are not an absolute exact match, but definitely close enough to look great. The chairs themselves are fantastic! They are very heavy, sturdy construction. The seat padding is nice and thick - very comfortable. The seat back has a comfortable curve and padding. If you relax way back in the chair the handle top kind of pokes your spine bones, but I don't care because the handle is so nice for pulling the chair out with one hand to sit. The back is supportive and comfortable for normal sitting. The table accomodates 4 chairs easily or 6 closer together (the leaves are long lost), so we ordered 4 to start out. We love them so much we just ordered 2 more. They come fully assembled. I highly recommend this chair. It's not cheap, but worth the price! Very sturdy, heavy, comfortable and look great.

I am old enough to remember chairs like this from my youth. This chair is exactly as I remember them to be. Very heavy construction and they do not wobble at all. The vinyl is very heavy and tough. They should last a long time and hold up to heavy abuse. I cannot stress enough, just how heavy duty these chairs are. I am guessing that they probably weigh about 10 pounds each. As soon as you grab one to slide it out from the table, you realize that this is a commercial chair made for a diner.The clam back is curved and fits your back very well and the angle of the back gives plenty of lumbar support. The 2 inch padded seat is very comfortable. The grey cracked ice finish looks great. I have them sitting around a white and chrome 50's table and it is a great retro look for my apartment dining room.These things are not cheap in price, but they are not cheap chairs. They are worth every penny. I am pleased with my purchase of 4 of them. If I had a need for more chairs, I would buy these again.The only warning I could give is that large, overweight people might find the chair too small, but I think they are perfect.

I really love these chairs!! I know they're pricey, but they will last for many years,... that is what I want. These are really cool and retro.

I love the chair. It’s sturdy and well made. It came fully assembled too. I was just a bit disappointed in the color. It’s yellow but a tiny bit orange yellow. I was expecting a bright sunflower yellow.
