I have tried everything, but I can find nothing that will keep a carpet on carpet from sliding. The "teeth" of this product do not "dig in". If you pull the top carpet using a horizontal force, you will find the top carpet easily moves, no matter how many of these things you use.UPDATESo, these things do not work. However, I know what WILL work and I'd be happy to pay anything you ask for this -I noticed that the adhesive backing on the round plastic toothed thing DOES firmly attach. I removed the plastic piece attached with the adhesive and it seems that removing the adhesive layer does not hurt the rug at all. I bet if I had just the adhesive material with adhesive on both sides, like double sided Scotch tape, that would work great.

These don't really work. I have a runner on carpet in a high traffic area. It still moves. But it is better than what I was using which was Velcro.

These are a terrific idea! and may work well for most HOWEVER! I used mine on a runner in my hallway that was on a Berber carpet and although it somewhat stopped the sliding of my rug it did not hold it in place and I still had bunching in the middle of the rug. I also wanted to WARN you!! If you put these on an area rug or runner be prepared to leave them on!! I went to remove them "carefully" to return them and not only did they take the rubber backing off the bottom of my rug they also pulled the rug fibers right off causing a bare hole in my runner! Needless to say I ruined my rug! I do feel that on the right type of carpet these would work great!

i just got it today and all I can say, its baller/legit. I only needed to use just two for my setup and so far they work like a champ! I will update when I have a update to share but so far I love it. A carpet on top of a carpet not moving this will help

As many of the reviews state this are good--not great. They keep our doormat in its general location pretty well. And admittedly we have a freze carpet so taller than says in the directions. It gets a a lot of traffic 5 people and 2 dogs...and only need slight readjustment every other day.

Not working for me. Placed 4 (one per corner) on a 42"x36" area rug that sits under my bathroom sink on top of the wall-to-wall carpet. Rug still bunches up, will not stay in place, we are still tripping over it. Perhaps I need 2 more to place in the middle of the long edges of the area rug but, based on poor performance so far, I'm not willing to waste more money. Would return if I'd kept the outer packaging.

These don't really work for the rug I bought them for. I have an area rug on top of bedroom carpet, but the rug is really soft and flimsy. I was hoping these would help keep the rug in place, but they don't really stay in the bedroom carpet.

I have a 3 X 9 foot runner on carpet in heavy traffic area. This product has worked better than any other product i have tried but after 2-3 days it moves. Would another set of 4 work better since it is a long hallway runner? Would like to buy another set but not sure if it work.
