Grush Smart Electric Toothbrush Makes Brushing Fun for Kids with Interactive Brushing Games and Precise Tracking and Monitoring for Parents

I was looking for a sonic toothbrush that would have a fun and interactive timer for my busy son. This toothbrush seemed to fit the bill.Unfortunately the games that correspond with the toothbrush didn't calibrate properly after many tries. This caused the game to show him brushing the wrong teeth which caused much frustration.Also, the "sonic" part of the toothbrush wasn't strong enough. It mostly just makes noice vs actually helping to clean.. We had better results with the regular vibrating kids toothbrushes.Lastly, after having it for only a month and rinsing after each use, the toothbrush head is filled with black mold.I would not reccomend this product at all.

The toothbrush itself is not great. I felt that the brush does not do a great job of clearing out most of the plaque from your mouth (and I am not sure whether a child could either). Setting up the toothbrush was easy and intuitive and the instructions are good. The game that comes with Grush could use a lot of improvement. First of all, the software is too big—the app was 128 MB which is crazy big. Playing the game is fun in practice but there was some issue with synchronizing the brush head and the video game brush. I felt that it wasn't really getting my teeth any cleaner than if I had done it without the game. Sometimes the app wasn't responsive to movement. Another improvement would be for the game to get the brush around the underside of the teeth as well.

My sons third one,I can’t buy the heads alone anymore so I have to buy the full package just for the heads. It vibrates enough to clean your teeth but not so much like adults (or other kid ones I tried) so hopefully these last long enough so the other kid ones dont bother him anymore.(1 of the original kickstarter members)

I bought this toothbrush specifically for the interactive app it comes with but sadly it’s big very accurate when the kids are brushing the back teeth and they got pretty frustrated with it. Also it never seemed to record how well each tooth was brushed very well. We stopped using the app pretty quickly. It does seem to brush fairly well but we’ve completely stopped using it now. Sad to have spent so much money on something that doesn’t do what it says it does.

The product succeeded in engaging the kids in their daily toothbrushing. They wanted to brush and enjoyed playing the phone app game. They even liked looking at the post-game review tracking the areas in their mouth which they brushed well. However, this all came to an end just one week after we received the product. While the electric motor continued to work, the bluetooth just stopped working, and the phone could not find the device. We even tried several fresh batteries to no avail. The frustration level is too high and I'm going to return it for a refund.

Update: my daughter has been using grush for a few months now and it's improved her brushing tremendously! We set a goal on obtaining 50 coins in a brushing session. We've been to the dentist and received a thumbs up for no cavities and great brushing. I love the color coding of each tooth. It allows us to improve brushing in certain areas.I am so happy to find this product! My daughter does not like to brush her teeth.....never did. Recently I was trying to find a creative way to get her interested in truly brushing all her teeth and I came upon Grush! I immediately ordered it and it works! She LOVES it. The game allows her to brush thoroughly and hit every tooth. I love it because I do not have to nag, plead or bribe her to brush her teeth. We both love to see the report to see how well she brushed. I love the idea of color coding the teeth so that she can understand where she needs to really improve. Thanks Grush!!!

My 6 year old was very excited to get GRUSH and brush his teeth. As a new product there are a few "bugs" that are still being worked out so that can be frustrating but nothing that stops my son from brushing. Their website says there are 3 games available but so far only one game is in the APP store. I think this can easily get to be a solid 5 star product if the software catches up with the vision. The makers are very helpful and interactive and actually answer the emails and will call you to help - so for that they remain 4 stars b/c they are committed to making this work.****UPDATE 11/2/2016**** We received a new GRUSH and played today with the new "toothy castles" game. MUCH BETTER! The brushing and game kept up together making the brushing fun for my son. He was excited to see his score and I really liked the added feature of showing the progress he made in each section of his mouth (it shows green for great, yellow for good, and red for needs improvement so your child knows where he/she needs to concentrate brushing. I am looking forward to new games for GRUSH but in the meantime we are exited to perfect the toothy castles games.

This Sonic Smart Toothbrush is a game changer!!! I know, smart devices are impeding every inch of our lives, however this is one smart device that completely changed our children's brushing habits! My kids now Love to brush and never forget either, in fact they remind mom and dad that "it's time to brush" Very easy to use app that tracks brushing habits, and the game shows in real time where the child is brushing on a picture of teeth.... So happy that we ordered these smart devices! They really change the game#

No encanto el promocional, quisimos motivar a mi hija con esto, en general se logro, sin embargo algunos temas importantes, se requiere tomarse el tiempo ya que la sincronización con el celular se lleva su tiempo, cada vez que se usa y en México no esta disponible la aplicación de la marca, se tiene qu usar la de un tercero que no luce tan bien como la de los videos. No vibra si no se sincroniza
