Primevolve 8.7 inch Battery Operated Standing Fan, Rechargeable Portable USB Fan with Adjustable Height for Camping Tent Travel White

We use battery powered fans when we're camping and sometimes at home. This little fan works great. What I like best is that it's easy to set up and get the breeze right where you want it. Other fans sit and point in one fixed direction and it's never where I want. It's always too high or low and a balancing act to get it right. Well, not with this awesome fan! I absolutely love that is adjustable for pretty much every direction and height. Very stable too. With the round base, it just rotates easily. The height adjustment is easy and it tilts fine, and stays put once adjusted.The controls are slightly different than expected. Each press of the button cycles it from off-low-medium-high-variable-off. In variable mode the speed changes continuously and slowly ramps from slow to high and back to slow, then repeat. I'm not sure that I would use this mode.The unit charges up nicely (cable included but you need to supply your own USB source). Battery performance was good. I have not used it to the point of being drained.It's a fan, so how is the movement of air? Really good for its size. I'm impressed. The low speeds are quieter than high and I don't think it's too noisy at all. It does move a lot of air on high.I'd certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a small battery powered fan. It's great for traveling!

I love how compact it is. Its easy to travel with. Our first use was at a cruise. This folded down and fit right in my suitcase. It has 4 setting each generously strong. It kept the cabin room cool at all times. I love the remote control which makes it so easy to turn on and off as needed when hot flashes come and go. I love how easy it is to charge with USB.I now take it to every room. At night I use standing up next to me and when hot flashes hits that remote goes on. At times I fall asleep with remote in hand. I also like the light white noise at night.I love that you can adjust the height for table top to stand up.The wind projects far and has a good radius.WISHLIST:1. I wish it had an oscillating option. I always have to test the angle for wherever I am sitting or laying down to ensure the wind is hitting me. 2. The remote fits loosely in the area designated, would be nice if it snapped in place so you do not loose it or fall off. SOLUTION: I added a Velcro backing to it and that helps.Overall I love it. Won’t travel without it .. ever.

The concept of a portable/rechargeable fan is terrific to me. My immediate uses would be to use it during travel where having a small portable fan would be nice - I like having fan white noise at night. Also, living in an area prone to intermittent power outages, the 4-15hr run time would be perfect.The good:*Good battery life*Decent noise levels (about 40 decibels at the highest setting)*Decent air movement for the size*Can be used as desk fan or extend to about 40 inches from top to bottom*Relatively lightweight*The rubberized feet give good grip on smooth surfaces*Comes with a charging cableThe bad:*Even after charging overnight, I was not able to get the battery level over 2 lights (presumably 50% charge?)*When fully extended it can be a little tipsy*Does not come with a charging adapter (the part that plugs into the wall)Other thoughts:All in all, not a bad little unit if it would charge up all the way. It does have swivel adjustment, but does not oscillate. It's a little big to be truly portable, and a little less powerful than I'd like. Might be worth $30 (price after coupon), but I would not suggest paying more.

My wife and I both have remote jobs. We take trips to Florida and work there from time to time. I generally sit on a screened in balcony with no breeze. This fan does the job in helping keep me cool. It is nearly silent and the battery lasts at least a day and a half of working. I do charge it every night, but only because I want to be sure it's fully ready for the next day. The compact nature of it and the folding aspect is also a huge selling point.

I had heard about this fan on tv and when power outages of 4+ hours began occurring repeatedly in my neighbor I found this fan from tv ads on Amazon. Being desperate, I made the mistake of not looking at other possible products. I did read over the reviews before purchasing but I needed something fast for my cats and I to survive the heat and so purchased this fan (2 of them) for us. The first one's blade broke during the first power outage simply from tipping over (onto something SOFT no less!) as it is VERY top heavy and will not stand straight without a lot of help. How the blade could break when it did not touch anything is beyond my understanding. The second started making noise that would not stop and I put it away, did my research and found a MUCH BETTER, MUCH STURDIER similar type fan. No problems with it. Just this week I took the rattling Primevolve fan back out and 10 minutes in it began to rattle again. Turned off, on, and it was quiet through the night. Next day, rattling again and then its blade broke off, too! If you are looking for a good quality, sturdy, dependable fan THIS IS NOT IT! I would not recommend purchasing this fan. Please do your research and choose another product! I am going to try to contact product support and see how to get replacement blades as the fan works otherwise but I will be finding a way to tie the fan in place as that may be the only way to keep its top-heavy self standing. PS: the instructions say NOT to place in high places, not to put on floors, and not to put on tables! Pray, tell me, WHERE can I put it if not on the floorr?!
