Clean, whole, fresh, high quality, long expiration date, uniform size, easy to cook, delicious, nutritious and a great value.I am a huge fan of Mayocoba beans. I rinse then soak a cup overnight in a quart mason jar filled with water. I cook at high pressure in two cups of water for 12 minutes (tender but still fully intact) to 15 minutes (for very soft to mash) in my instant pot and they natural release in about 20 minutes. A dry cup makes four good size servings. I sometimes double the recipe (use some additional water for cooking) and freeze half for convenience. I love them with high fiber pasta dishes. I also like to mash them up a bit, season them and spread them on well toasted Ezekiel bread topped with a splash of Greek olive oil and balsamic vinegar. They are a great side dish, I warm them then season based on what I'm serving them with and add a drizzle of Greek olive oil. They are also great mixed with farro or barley as a highly nutritious beans and rice option. They are really delicious. I eat a mostly bean and legume based diet, so these are a staple for me and I always have them cooked and ready in my fridge and freezer.

These are fantastic beans!!!!! A mild bean flavor, very creamy, and really takes to spices well. They make wonderful refried beans, but mainly, we just eat them cooked in a spiced broth. I really should try these in chili. But, a good value for a never-seen-bean in my neck of the woods, and you don't need much to fill you up. Yes, I will be buying these again.

I don’t think these are any better than say a $3 bag of beans. I probably would not have spent the money had I tasted them first. I did not detect a huge difference in quality that justified price.

In my opinion, these are the best bean on the planet! This brand is extremely clean, well sized and beautiful!There are no broken pieces at all.I'm looking forward to making a pot of these delicious beans which IMO have a bacon flavor with a very creamy texture.
