A real eye-opener!
A must-read if you want to know how our food & agriculture system will be disrupted and change over the next decade - driven by precision biology, precision fermentation, and a system of production the authors call “food-as-software”. The book outlines the massive economic, environmental, social, and geopolitical opportunities that arise from this modern food disruption and is a real eye-opener on the potential benefits that this new system offers!

An interesting exercise with a seriouslly flawed premise
This book paints an interesting picture, but it is based upon the premise that beef demand will drop by 70% in the next 10 years. This is just ludicrous and based upon the author's desire for alternative meat products and his California perspective. In fact, meat demand is at an all time high, and even if US demand drops, the overseas demand is exploding as countries move into the middle class. Take out that premise, and his whole argument falls.
