Great Product
I use Ipsab in conjunction with Alka Thyme after rinse and have seen GREAT results. In my case, if has really helped restore the vitality of my gums due to pyorreah. If you've never heard that word, I suggest you research it.I use Ipsab about 3 times a week. First I brush with soft bristle brush and rinse, then I rub the powder along the gum line and let sit for 5 mins. Afterwards I rinse out Ipsab with water then a final rinse with Alka-Thyme solution by the same company. I do that before bed and I have noticed a drastic increase in the overall health of my gums. I have been consistent in my use and my gums look and FEEL better.Keep in mind that Ipsab isn't a one time cure all. It is to be used as a weekly enhancement to your dental hygiene that spans a lifetime.Research what Edgar Cayce has to say about pyorreah and what he suggests helps with tooth/gum health. Some of the reviews complain about the taste. I didn't give the product 5 stars because it tasted good. It gets 5 stars because its working. The taste is a little salty-ish, but literally no big deal and shouldn't be a deal breaker if you're on the fence.I am NOT sponsored by this brand and only write reviews on products that are top notch and need more love and awareness.Great product!

BEST THERE IS
Some of the negative reviews I read here are just ridiculous. This is not a corporate made, candy flavored list of toxic chemicals and fluoride, LOL. Don't buy it if you want to brush your teeth with an ice cream cone, its not for you. Prickly ash is great for you gums, hundreds of years used. No, its not going to taste like a peppermint candy stick, the mint is very subtle. Simple, effective ingredients, that alkalize your mouth and promote gum health, without toxic fluoride. If you don't know who Edgar Cayce is, go look him up. I've been making my own toothpaste, but am tired of doing it and some of the "pure" ingredients I was using irritated my gums, this product doesn't. This tooth power has been around for over 100 years almost, it works, it won't ruin your gums like fluoride will, or poison your brain cells like fluoride will. I won't be using anything else again, plus get yourself a bottle of Ipsab as a mouth rinse, once a week to double the tooth powder's effectiveness. These products also contain a form of iodine that kills bad bacteria and boosts gum health.

Good Stuff
Wet brush first and "pour" don't squeeze... Fine powder really flows out. If you've ever brushed with baking soda or Neem powder, it's about the same texture. Pleasant flavor. Really gets the teeth cleaned!

Healthy Teeth and Healthy Gums
I heard about this product from Dr. Jennifer Daniels[...]on one of her radio programs. As I age I am determined to take care of my own health and part of that is keeping my teeth as healthy as possible and staying away from drill and fill dentists. This product is part of that plan. I do get a bit of a weird taste in my mouth in the morning, but I am pretty sure I can overcome that by adding some more peppermint oil to it. That is the only negative I have found.

Great product to naturally eliminate plaque at the gum line-
I've been using this for years. I use it 3x a week in place of regular toothpaste. It is a powder, that you mix with a little water ( I just pour the powder into the palm of my hand, and add some water). It works really well to eliminate plaque accumulation in or at the gum line.I use it to clean my tongue, as well. After I mix the powder with water, I just put the mixture all over my tongue brush.

Formula Change?
I've purchased Ipsab Tooth Powder for more than a decade. The last 4oz bottle, purchased via Amazon on May 3, 2017, tasted different. The taste seemed dryer, less minty, and more metallic. As the taste change is unappealing, I no longer use the product.

Buy the paste not the powder
Tasted like pure salt. I’ve used the toothpaste and loved it. The powder is nothing like the paste in flavor or performance. Ish!

Heritage Products Ipsab ToothPowder Peppermint
Had bought the cinnamon version of this, and then decided to buy and try the pepperming version. It's a slightly more "tasty" albeit it, too needs to have more flavor boost provided. If it had more peppermint, it would be a worthwhile future purchase. It's too bad that Amazon no longer offers the Colgate toothpowder- that was an excellent product.... I do understand that it is still made offered in India as it is now made their by Colgate...... from some other reviewer's comments.

Did nothing
Useless. Didn’t work for me and did nothing good to my gums. The same brand Ipsab liquid which I bought did nothing too.
