Polycarbonate Breather Anti Dust Tape (38mm Wide X 33m Long)

Great quality tape. Less than a 3rd of the price I could get locally. Very sticky and breathable for sure.

We used this on a metal gazebo with 9mm polycarbonate roofing. The roof was suffering from condensation forming in the airgap between the inside and outside layers. We decided on this product as opposed to sealing all the holes) because it would allow the panels to breath while at the same time keeping water out. The tape is easy to work with but you MUST be very sure on your placement as the glue is so good it makes repositioning impossible. Rather you will have to clean it off and start again. If you look carefully you will notice that there is zero condensation inside any of the panels. The staining is actually where rain water has sat on the outer surface so even when soaked this tape allows no water through. Before it would have sat inside the panel. Because the panel is 9mm wide this leaves about 7mm of tape on both flat surfaces. This does not show up or detract from the look of the roof in any way (again see pics) but it does allow for great adhesion between the tape and the polycarbonate.. Without the tape the roof cavities would be a mess of condensation and mould so we are VERY happy with our purchase.

I found as with any type of tape clean surfaces well & dry with no residues. I applied the tape on lengths of approx 120cm it seemed 2 stick well & found must get it in place 1st time, can't reposition without damaging tape. So far so good now only time will tell. I also put a bead of exterior silicone just above the tape so when edging plastic end cover was fitted silicone would seal & prevent rain water from seeping under edge cover & soaking tape in an effort to make it last longer as found old one had deteriorated.

Used to replacing/maintenance of conservatory polycarbonate sheet ends. Does the job as intended, with good adhesion. Perfect for my needs.

I found this tape to be relatively easy to use, and it stuck well to clean surfaces. However, it can be tricky to reposition once applied without damaging it

I’ve noticed a couple of strips are now peeling off. They have been in place for three weeks.

Hab das Klebeband zum Streichen von unserer Fassade verwendet. Klebekraft ist ausreichend auch auf rauher Oberfläche. Beim abziehen reißt es nicht in Stücke, so das man das Klebeband in einem Stück entfernen kann. Ich weiß nächstes Jahr zum Renovieren noch ein paar Rollen davon kaufen
