Great resource
Covered most of the information that was needed for my A2 in Film Studies. I used Fight Club as the case study and this book has a good mixture of theoretical study and quotation from Fincher himself. It is presented in an easy to consume format and would be suitable for high or low grade attempts in the course.

Producing Fight Club
Wer sich mit einer tiefgründigen Analyse von "Fight Club" in Sachen Kapitalismuskritik oder der Krise der Männlichkeit (Gender)etc. beschäftigen möchte ist bei diesem Buch nicht gut aufgehoben.Rund 100 Seiten lang geht es um geschätzte 3/4 des Inhaltes um die Produktion des Films. Auf lediglich 20 Seiten wird auf inhaltliche Analyseaspekte eingegangen, und dies dazu sehr oberflächlich. Im Internet gibt es frei zugänglich Aufsätze die wesentlich tiefer in die Materie eindringen und das natürlich kostenfrei.Ein Stern bekommt das Buch, weil es eben das Minimum ist. Den zweiten für die "Anstoßmöglichkeiten" um über gewisse inhaltiche Aspekte nachzudenken. 12 Euro sind summa sumarum nicht gerechtfertig. 5 Euro wären angemessen.
