Great rice
It's got great taste and value, but just a heads-up: the cooking time is more like 18-22 minutes, not the 10 minutes the label suggests.

Great taste and long grains
Basmati brown rice is supposed to have long grains. This does - not all do. This has a nice flavor that I think far exceeds the flavor of other Basmati rices I've tried. I still use white rice for dishes that really need it but whenever I can use this rice, I do. The texture and flavor almost make one forget that there are health benefits not found in white rice. Healthy, tasty and a great texture - this has become the permanent choice in this house.

Great flavor
This race has great flavor. Easy to cook. The quality is great. slightly higher price than normal but consistent on texture when cooked so worth the price.

Very good taste, cooks well
I’ve cooked many types of rice all my life in a regular pot on the stove, preferring the any white rice over brown. Recently I somehow screwed up two meals by making the rice poorly —- I don’t know what I did differently, but it kind of bummed me out. I decided to buy a Zojirushi rice cooker as I’ve read many reviews saying how well rice cooks in it, how you can keep rice warm in it for a long time, and how it’s basically fool proof, which I evidently need. After trying it out a few times (it’s fantastic by the way) and reading again of the health benefits of brown rice vs white rice to remind myself why I should give it another try, I ordered this neat zippered bag o’ rice. Let me tell you. It tasted great. I’m not sure if it’s all related to this particular brand or style of brown rice or if the cooker is coming into play, but I truly loved the taste of it. My son and husband are quite picky about most foods and they both liked it just fine. White rice really doesn’t have much taste at all I think; it’s more a texture thing, based on the type you get. But brown rice has a subtle taste without negatively affecting what it’s served with. And it had a nice al dente bite to it. Before buying this rice, I’d never have said I enjoyed brown rice at all. Now, about a week after receiving it, I’ve had it for 3 or 4 meals and was glad to do it.

Tastes just ok, won’t soften
Fortunately no bugs like others reported. However the bag says it cooks in ten minutes. No. Not in 10, 20 or even 30. About 45 minutes and still a bit firm. It tastes fine but nobody wants to serve hard rice. Maybe it’s old because I soaked it for an hour and was finally able to soften it with about 40 minutes of cook. I threw it away.

I Love the Sack!--Oh yeah, the Rice is Good too!
What can I say? It's rice and delicious! It's wrapped in plastic on the inside but the outside is like a burlap, and if you caaarefully cut the strings that keeps it shut, you can reuse the burlap bag!The rice is great and you get a "free" bag; you can't ask for much more!

Chewy rice
The package instructions say to cook this rice for 10 minutes! I cooked it for well over 30 minutes and it still feels like the very middle of the rice is not done and is a little "crunchy". It's not bad per se, but I like rice to feel like it is cooked...maybe that is how this brand is supposed to be. Definitely makes for a chewy, toothsome rice.
