It's 28 May, fewer than two months since I purchased these Betron headphones. While they worked they were spectacular. I use them about three or four times a week for a short time then store them safely in my desk drawer. I don't take them outside, I don't use them while exercising, and I never stuff them into bags. Tonight as I settled in to listen to a movie, the right can started buzzing in and out then completely died. I'm so disappointed. I thought I'd found a reliable, stably-built headphone set I could keep buying for all my listening needs. When Amazon offered to replace the headphones for me, I rejected the offer because I don't want to risk this happening again. The hassle of dealing with Betron's manufacturer's warranty is much worse than the costs involved. Now I'll have to look elsewhere for reliable headphones. No more Betron's for our household.
