Angels and Demons: A Christian Primer of the Spiritual World

Fabulous and Thorough Introduction to the Subject of Angels and Demons based on Scripture and Church Teachings
I was interested in finding out more theologically sound information about what the Catholic Church teaches about the subject of angels and demons. There is so much popular and misguided information out there that it is difficult to sort things out. This was a very good and thorough introduction to the topic that rests solidly on Scripture and Church teachings. The information on what exactly is found in Scripture and the material on the Last Judgement and Purgatory were well done. Having the sources of different information pointed out is helpful for knowing where to go for more in-depth information. I would whole heartedly recommend this book for any Catholic, perhaps any Christian, for separating the wheat from the chaff from the wheat on this topic.

Good basic primer
This is a good book for basic understanding of the subject; not storytelling or drama, just the facts.

Solid History & Theology
The author gives a history to development of images and names for Demons and angels and fills out how beliefs and images developed. Good for anyone interested in straightening out some confusing concepts and ideas.

Basic primer of spiritual world from a Roman Catholic perspective.
A good basic approach to the spirit world. I agree with Patella we must understand the battle between good and evil is not an even fight, God won and daily He wins through us. An easy read that provides appropriate warnings concerning involvement with evil.

Interesting
I enjoyed reading and getting a better understanding of terms related to Angels and Demons. I had heard many of the words, but didn't have an overall grasp of the meaning or the context in which the terms originated.
