This product has the flavor of an IPA with a hint of a Stout. I enjoyed it. For reasons of health - I seldom drink alcoholic beverages anymore but do miss a good ale or beer. For the taste I can recommend Athletic Extra Dark. The price of around $2.50 per can is a drawback. Local stores and restaurants are now offering a variety of NA Beers including some made by famous brewers like Guiness Stout and their prices are more competitive.

I have challenged several friends to tell the difference between Athletic and Guinness and only one got it right.Superb product!

Great non-alcoholic drink all by itself, but put in a fresh lime and it's amazing!

I thought this would be bland and tasteless, but was surprised to find out otherwise. This will be my first choice for future purchases.

Taste is what it's about and this is the best, maybe because it's dark. Only the Guiness non-alcoholic comes as close.

This is a higher calorie beer than the other NA beers I've tried, but it is still an absolute treat because it tastes the best. Hands down. (It's still lower calorie than light beers (with alcohol)).I would take this over beers with alcohol any day because it just tastes better.I would compare it to Boneshaker (if you're familiar with that beer, you'll like this one)I wish it came in tallboys because one little can isn't quite enough.

I'm now 48 days without a beer (or drink). It's not a forever thing more of break before the Christmas season. I really didn't think it would be possible but this Upside Dawn Craft Golden from the Athletic Brewing Company is a game changer. The price is good and the speed of delivery excellent.

Tastes as good as US style pale ale

We have introduced this product to so many of our friends and everyone agrees - best non-alcoholic beer out there!

I'm not a fan of low-alcohol beers but, with the new stringent drink-driving laws, I needed something on hand for when driving friends call around (and even for me if I might need to go out later). This looks like a dark stout although the taste is lighter than that, more like a porter or even a brown ale. I'm sufficiently impressed that I might try their IPA too.
