During the summer we spend a lot of time up at my in-law's lake condo, and love to have outdoor games. The first time I played this was at my sister's place, and after playing it we knew we needed it for our house so we play it and take it up to the lake house. My in-laws loved it so much that they ordered one for themselves. It's a great way to get everyone involved to have some fun, and if you have little kids they love being able to throw the big dice. The dice fit perfectly in the bag that is provided along with the two game sheets that came with it. This was a perfect buy for our family.

I researched yard dice for a while and finally decided to purchase these. The seller forgot to add the laminated score sheets but when I emailed them, they quickly sent them to me with no additional shipping charges (thank you). They came with a bag but I found this cute wire trash can to show them off in. Once a they’re all in a bucket, they’re pretty heavy so you can’t really shake them like I had envisioned so we dump the first round and then we pick up the dice and roll the next two by hand. It works. It was fun! I gave four stars because at least one of my dice didn’t match the others, as far as which number was on what side. It wasn’t a big deal to us but they weren’t perfect.

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for.I lost both games, miserably...Don't buy the expensive laminated directions and scorecard sold elsewhere. This set comes with them.Nice quality wood.No sharp edges. Nicely finished.The "branded" dots aren't very deep and are already (one game) showing signs of wear.They aren't finished with anything.They now have fingerprints all over them that won't clean off.I'm sure if we'd played on grass they'd be all green - permanently.We played in a 6x8 exterior carpet we put down on our cement patio for the game.I suggest carpet (or maybe cardboard - like a freezer box) to keep from dinging or dingying them up.In cement, they get all beat up. On grass, I think they'd be all free.I don't think they would work at the beach (wouldn't land flat).If I ever get another set, I'd seal them with some kind if wood sealer when new.Get a two gallon (white) bucket in the paint department of your favorite hardware or paint store.Use it as the cup to pour them out,

Bought these for m daughters nephews for christmas. They are 3 boys, 4, 9 and 12. Mostly they are into electronics and I was really trying to find something that was NOT electronic. Not to mention they have everything any child could ever dream of. So, I fell upon these. I added a book of family dice games. Apparently the boys do play with them outside - which was the plan. They have a small grassy area in their backyard of Arizona. The blocks were well made, smooth, no sharp edges and nice, large size - about 4" x4" as I recall. I do remember measuring and it was accurate to what was advertised. I liked that they came with a nice drawstring bag to store them too. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

These are beautiful! Feel great and nicely done! I ended up doing a couple of coats of shellac in order to seal them and they are absolutely gorgeous 😍 Was happily surprised with the laminated game cards. The laminate on them isn't great so I might redo them but I love the idea of adding them to the bag. I got a Yardzee game rules with scorecare and Yard Farkle game rules with scorecare. Fit nicely in the bag. Love that it also has a nice and durable Yard Dice bag that is labeled. Will definitely be using this for a long time with my kids.

I think this is a very good product for the price. It is a very fun game. However, without it having a clear coat or a glaze, when the dice are thrown it picks up a lot of dirt and grass stains and the dice look pretty dirty.(I’ve only had it for about two weeks.). We tried to throw them by just holding them but it was a little hard to hold all of them at once, we tried to do it from the bag they came in but that was also hard. We went to Home Depot and bought a bucket for three or four dollars and it was much easier to throw them all from the bucket instead. Overall,I would recommend this product, maybe stain it yourself before using. I wish I would’ve thought about that sooner because my dice are going to be ruined in no time. Also, it only comes with one score sheet Which we found was a little hard to pass around and have everybody use the same one. I made a copy of it and laminated it at work and that was much easier.

I liked that the dice are bigger than normal dice, but still small enough to be easy to carry. I liked that rule sheets and dry-erase boards were provided for both games.

I had a lot of fun with this game, but the dice were much smaller than I expected.

This was a little smaller than I expected but well made , good game.
