High-Quality Vitamin D3 – Highly Recommended
I’ve been using this Sports Research Vitamin D3 for a while and I’m very satisfied with the results. The softgels are small and easy to swallow, have no unpleasant taste, and are made with coconut oil, which helps with better absorption. I’ve noticed an improvement in my energy levels and overall well-being. It’s a high-quality product, well formulated, and offers great value for the price. I would definitely buy it again.

Also contains Coconut MCT Oil for better health!
My wife and I have used Sports Research Vitamin D3 with/ Coconut MCT Oil for several years. I believe the product is superior to other brands because it uses coconut oil instead of rice, palm oil, or other ingredients. I supplement with 10,000 units a day and have given excellent results, maintaining a healthy Vitamin D level on my labs. This is a great product, and I highly recommend the Sports Research brand Vitamin D3.

Good source of Vitamin D3
I ordered this and received it the next day so shipping was definitely quick and the product was packaged well. I like that this version of Vitamin D is made up of “D3” instead of “D2”. I also like the quality certifications such as being Non-GMO and how the ingredients listed do not contain many other unnecessary ingredients like soy, gluten, fillers, coloring, and binders which I avoid... and even the gelatin used to make the softgels is Kosher if that’s important to you. I also like that this product is manufactured and tested in the United States. At this point, I cannot attest to the quality of the product given how I’ve just received it but it was sealed well and the smell is not off. I can say that the liquid softgels are very small and should be very easy to swallow for anyone who has that concern when taking supplements. I also like that you can view independent testing using the lot # of the product you receive. I would like to give this product 5 stars; however, I would have preferred to receive a fresher product with an earlier MFG date. That given... at least this company includes that information as many do not. I am not a doctor so please do not take the following as medical advice... that being said, I will say that the 125 mcg (5,000 iu) serving per soft gel which I ordered is plenty and is well above the above the daily RDA, so I personally wouldn’t take the 250 mcg (10,000 iu) serving size unless directed to do so by a physician. Also, I personally would avoid taking any other Vitamin D supplements when taking this...The same can be said when taking any other fat soluble vitamins such as vitamins A, E, & K because you will not simply excrete any excess amounts through your urine. Unlike water soluble vitamins, fat soluble vitamin levels can build up in your system over time, so watch your intake levels and don’t over do it. Overall, I would highly recommend this product and am very happy with the speed and packaging of this purchasing experience, I just wish the product was a little fresher.

Best Vitamin D3 5,000 Ever!!!!!
I highly recommend this product is one of the best I've ever try'd and one of the cleanest product out there with out fillers or unnecessary stuff in it, its really good for the immune system and fighting colds and infections of any kind. Make sure to use this Vitamin D3 5,000 IU with Vitamin K2 MK4 5,000mcg , the best times to take D3 with K2 5,000mcg is at the end of the day just make sure you take it 3 or 4 hours before sleep to be able to sleep other wise to close to bed time will keep you awake creating insomnia. If you never use Vitamin D3 5,000 IU go easy on it, start with 1 a day and after one month you can increase 1 more every 2 or 3 weeks until you get to about 25,000 IU or 30,000 IU but only if your fighting something serious, my best Advice is to check with your Doctor to see your Vitamin levels and he or she can recommend the exact dose for your needs. The Reason I say take Vitamin K2 MK4 5,000mcg is because its the regulator of Calcium, with out this type of K2 it will create Calcification, K2 with direct the Calcium in to the right places like Bones and teeth. Please do some research on the things that I have mentioned so that you can learn more. I Wish you luck on your Journey, Stay Strong and Healthy

D3 great for me.
It is excellent, and that is why we purchase it. I know this is repetitive, but this is the best D3.

5000 IU is NOT too much for the majority of the population.
You may wonder why 5000 IU is even offered since it exceeds the US daily recommend dosage. The truth is that the majority of people are deficient and extreme deficiency is not usually in the northern parts of the US. Also, getting adequate Vitamin D from the sun and diet is very unlikely for most US lifestyles, especially in northern states and compounded further in winter (UVB does not even reach your skin in the winter in the north so laying out butt ass naked will have zero Vitamin D production). Having more Melanin in your skin (darker skin) also reduces your efficiency at producing sun derived vitamin D. If you look at studies of people that died from Covid 19 and their Vitamin D levels, there is a shocking correlation between Vitamin D deficiency and death. So how much do you need? A serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D level (blood measurement) of 40-60 ng/mL is now considered ideal. To determine if a 5,000 IU pill is adequate, you need to take into account your current ideal level and your weight. My recent serum test showed I was at 42 mg/mL and my current weight is 200 Lbs. Vitamin D is a fat soluble hormone (not even a vitamin technically) that is stored up in your body waiting to be utilized by the cells/immune system. You use up about 20% of the stored Vitamin D per month. This is very much like your vehicles gas tank that you fill with fuel. You don't use all your fuel at once and you don't overfill your tank (think vitamin D toxicity). So the formula for maintaining would look like this: Desired level in mg/mL x 20% x (your current weight/154 baseline weight in pounds) x 10,000 IU. If I want to maintain 42 mg/mL it would be 42ng/mL x 20% x (200 lbs/154 lbs baseline) x 10,000 IU. 42 x 0.2 x 1.30 x 10,000 = 109,200 IU needed per month Assuming I take 1 per day that's 109,200/30 = 3,640 IU required to maintain a 42 mg/mL level. Taking this pill at 5,000 IU per would mean my levels would slowly rise over time. If I just wanted to be exact at maintaining 42 mg/mL, then I would just put 22 pills in a bag and consume them over a given month (109,200/5,000 = 22 of these pills). Now, if you expose yourself to 20-30 minutes of sun per day and/or consume high levels of deep cold water fish, then this will reduce your monthly requirement. There are charts for measuring this too. These pills are affordable, easy to take, and helped me get my levels about 40 mg/mL. The key is getting tested, supplementing and then retesting down the road.
