clear proof and a lot of examples
After I read Linear Algebra and its application by Lay (I think this Lay's book is best of first course of linear algebra for engineer), I was looking for second course linear algebra book. The candidates was Axler's(linear algebra done right), Strang's(linear algebra and its application) and Meyer's(Matrix Analysis and Applied Linear Algebra).Axler's was operator-based instead of matrix-based, Strang's was not good for self study because of unclear explanation and Meyer's proof didn't seem to be good. But this book has concise theorem, clear proof and a lot of examples. So, I picked this one and I'm enjoying this book.I highly recommend this book for self study by engineer.

Dr. Garcia's class based on these notes was great
I used the working copy of these notes during college as a math major in Dr. Garcia's Advanced Linear Algebra (one of four courses I took with this amazing professor). I just started my PhD, and am finding this material invaluable, so I bought the full version.I'm excited to have these notes all in one place.
