This is a great gift! It looks pretty realistic and is so cute! It’s also larger than others I have seen!

I carefully put this together today by the instructions but the bird is NOT moving at all. I took the cage apart to adjust the bird and I see the metal pieces in the feet but do not see anything this is suppose to connect to in the branch? it makes good sound but disappointed in the lack of bird movement. I received my 2nd Bird and the bird will move ONLY when extra pressure is applied to the Left Claw on the branch. I ridded up this pressure using a chop stick and it worked fine for 2 days, but now the bird is no longer moving. I think these are cheep defective products that have managed to get on Amazon. Very disappointed.

I read the reviews and knew alot of people said their product didn,t work but I took a chance anyway. The bird came with a flimsy cage. Which I didn,t use anyway. Every one said make sure the birds feet are in the slots correctly which I did. Dickie sang but did not move. Finally I gave up and my sister took a turn, still no movement from duckies. She got frustrated and slung dickie across the table ,dickie sprung to life and sang and moved like a real bird ! He now works great. He did quit a couple of times but I just tap his stand on a hard surface and he springs to life. ....pay yer money and take a chance. It is a great toy shame most of em don't move.

It was easy for my daughter to open and play with. It’s cute and she was so excited.

It's a very cute item. My mother who has Alzheimer's loves birds and doesn't get out much, so this was perfect for her. It is easily activated with touch or sound and she enjoys it. The chirping is loud for my ears but not for hers since she has hearing loss. For anyone else who thinks it's too loud all you need to do is tape some gauze over the speaker at the bottom. Also make sure the bird is placed correctly on the branch, in the correct direction, and completely engaged otherwise it won't move.

Loved the moving parts and sweet chirping! If feet aren't all the way in, the bird won't move. (Suggestion: Include black plastic chain for hanging.)

This toy is supposed to activate when it is turned on and there is a loud noise like clapping nearby. The one we got makes noise and moves when the toy is first turned on, but then nothing after that. It was assembled correctly. We ordered a new one that works, but my daughter was initially disappointed with this. Apparently they are very hit and miss. If you just want it mainly for decoration, then it is pretty cute. The singing is very loud as other people mentioned, but the speaker can be covered with something to help.
