Best way to make coconut candy
While many recipes for making coconut candy often called "cajeta" or "cocada" use white refined sugar, you will never make it that way again once you've made it with "panela" or "tapa de dulce" The flavor is amazing and sugar that has not had the molasses removed from it is nutritionally better. The flavor is so good, you'll want to use unsweetened coconut. Everyone I've ever made this for has loved it. Raw sugar is much cheaper in countries that grow sugar cane, but the flavor makes it worth the imported price.

Great for Champurrado
I ordered these specifically to make my Nana’s recipe for Champurrado and had no local market to source piloncillos. They dissolved perfectly and gave it a wonderful flavor. Would (and am) absolutely buying again!

Better taste than brown sugar
I like to eat it like candy. Great is hot cereal. Just sweet enough and lots of flavor.
