Set up an effective training program based on the expert knowledge of a football legend. The training drills shown in this video cover all important aspects of training for children, but especially at this age, fun should be paramount. This is why the drills presented are designed to yield a perfect mix of creativity, effectivity and fun – for coaches and kids. The clear and systematic arrangement of the drills allows you to plan and to work in a well-structured fashion throughout the entire season. They’re also a great inspiration for developing further drill variations and training programs.Contents: Warming up, passing, technical skills, coordination, finishing, training gamesTraining structure: Every training session is structured in five recurring components. The sessions begin with a 15-minute warm-up phase to get familiarized with the session’s theme. When the players are warmed up, the session continues with a 20-minute part comprised of drills focused particularly on the theme. A game-based drill is next. The fourth part consists of theme related finishing drills. The sessions conclude with a 15-minute training game. A 90-minute training session should look like this: 1. Getting started 15 minutes. 2.
