Peace of mind
I purchased this case months and months ago. I use it every single day.I bring my speaker with me in the bathroom while I take a shower. (I listen to my audiobooks and what-not) I went through countless different types of cases and found they all muffle the sound. All of them. Then I came upon this sleeve. It was more expensive than the other covers but i figured if I have to dish out another $25 bucks to help extend the life of this expensive-a** speaker, so be it!Now again, my main reason was to keep out steam so the open-end with the draw string was a small concern. So I had some scrap PUL fabric (waterproof) and now I put a little piece inside the end of the sleeve before i tighten it up. Gives me peace of mind. I certainly will not dock it a star because of my own person problem and i had a solution before I even bought the thing. I knew full and well the end of the sleeve has a draw string, so I won't pretend like I didn't. I keep this thing nearby when I'm cooking, doing dishes, etc..the sound is as if it didn't have a sleeve over it! Just what I needed!!Also- if you guys are looking for a nice lookin cover (a non-protective cover) the Balolo Walnut Wood Cover is a really high quality one. These two go together like peanut butter and jelly! I'll include pictures

Great compact case for Bose Soundlink Mini II
Tight fit, which is just what I wanted: there is no wasted space in my backpack or suitcase. It seems well made and fits snugly over the Bose case; between the two of them I feel like the speaker is well protected. It does not hold the charging base, but no need to travel with that anyway since the Mini has its own charging jack. You can play the speakers through the case, and I guess I could see doing that on a boat or at the beach ... but it does muffle the sound so I remove the case when listening.I wish it had a pocket for stowing an extra cord or two, but otherwise it's perfect!

Good sleeve
I wanted some light protection so I could put it it in a bag or use it outside without being too worried. This gets the job done and even manages to preserve the same sound quality as without the sleeve. Note that it is difficult to use the volume controls and other buttons when the speaker is in the case, which is to be expected. While the $20 cost is a bit much, it is well made, comes with a decent warranty, and comes with a 25% rebate if you leave 'your honest opinion' in a review (they emailed this offer to me ~1.5 weeks after I ordered it).

Good protection around the pool
I bought this as I like using the Bose Speaker around the pool. This was the perfect compliment to the speaker, as it does not alter the sound, and it protects it from the water splash or frequent accidents with drinks around friends. The material is light and stretchy, and it allows the speaker to be inserted easily, with the strap that allows you to close the bag end.It will also protect the speaker from the sunlight and color fade.

Great product, excellent quality.
Haven't tested the sprinkle guard but works beautifully at the beach and on my wood work shop. Simple neoprene sleeve but sound travels and sturdy construction

I think it will work fine for what I need
I haven't taken it to the beach to try it out yet. But it seems it will "Repel" water and sand, but I don't think it will actually be waterproof or sandproof since one end is still open. I think it will work fine for what I need :-)

Nothing about this is "water resistant"
What about this is water resistant? The drawstring doesn't cover the end of the speaker. The moment water touches the exterior of case the inside gets wet. It's a great carrying case but if your looking for something that you can take to the beach/pool spend your money elsewhere.

Excellent product. Great protection and it let you listen ...
Excellent product. Great protection and it let you listen your favourite songs without any sound muzzling. The obly downback is that the closing lid doesnt cover 100% the speaker
