I saw a similar product on Massdrop at a higher price point and it piqued my interest. I wasn't aware of any mouse pads this large and thought it would make a great desk pad, so I checked Amazon to find something similar. This one came up with some good reviews and a great price, so I ordered it.Upon arrival, I inspected the edging. The appear well-enough constructed that I do not have concerns about it fraying, though there are a couple rough spots. While most buyers will probably use this as their mousing surface, I am using my hard, gaming mouse surface on top of it (took it off for the photo). Since that is it's main purpose, I did test it out in some League of Legends and for office work in LibreOffice Sheets. Mouse movement was accurate and smooth.It looks great (no branding) and feels good under my wrists. I use a similar (but traditionally small) product at work and know that this type of surface will collect a lot of dust, dead skin, and other detritus over time, eventually looking less attractive. Time will tell how this will hold up, but I am very happy with my initial feelings about it. Attached is a photo of it on my desk. A full-sized keyboard would easily fit on it with plenty of space left over for mouse movement.**Edit for 3/2/16**After a couple more weeks with the mouse pad, I really like it. I even retired my hard gaming surface as the pad tracks more smoothly, though I think that is partly due to the age of my old gaming surface. The larger pad hasn't moved a bit on my desk, which is an issue with smaller game surfaces and mouse pads. It's gone up in price since I bought it, but it was priced pretty far below others here (seems to be an OEM pad that many different companies have branded in the 36x12x.12" size).**Edit for 6/5/17**It's been over a year now and the mouse pad looks mostly new. None of the edges have any fraying. There are some food "stains" on the pad itself from my kids, but I feel like those would easily wash out with a bit of scrubbing with soap and water.

A couple of years ago when I got a new desk the edge was a little painful on my wrists. As someone who spends a large amount of time a week in front of a computer this was unacceptable. I decided to get a nice thick mat to cushion my wrists from the edge.I had been lucky enough at the time to have access to pretty much every major brand of mat so I knew what was out there. I was unhappy with nearly every one of them and was struggling to find what exactly I was looking for. Then a friend had gotten one of these and I instantly fell in love.First off there is no branding or graphics on the mat. I know that some people enjoy that stuff but I am a professional adult, I don’t need random garbage on my desk. Second it is nice and thick without feeling spongy. I know this is a subjective issue but I like to have some thickness for a mat like this. Personally I use a hard mouse pad on top of it so it is the perfect solution for both. Third is the quality of the materials and especially the stitching is top notch. I can tell you that much more expensive options from bigger manufacturers are no where near as well made as this.Cleaning the mat is a snap as well. I just ran it under some hot water with dish soap and it got rid of most of the funk that accumulated on it. Hang it on a shower rod or lay it in a sunny window for a bit and it is like new again.I recently bought a replacement mat after about 6 years of use on the old one. Mostly because I melted some of the rubber on the underside from putting a hot bowl of soup on top (don’t do this kids), but it still worked and looked fine.You can’t do any better for this type of product. I have had multiple friends end up buying these after using mine all of whom have had no issue either after years.

I've been using this mousepad for a few months now. The reasons I purchased this particular mouse pad was because it had no ugly designs or logos on it and that it was huge. I absolutely hate mousepads with unnecessary branding and logos. All I want for a mousepad is to be a simple surface for my mouse (and keyboard with this giant pad) without looking like a race car. This vipamz one does an excellent job at being minimal with no logos and having a quality design. When you first get the pad it comes rolled up in a tube. I did not have any problems with curling or fraying with it. The surface texture feels nice to the touch, however it is a little hard to clean off dust. The stitching of the edges also looks good and provides a good "border" feel if you try to move your mouse outside the pad. Size wise the thing is a monster. Make sure your desk can actually fit it because it is 36" by 12".Pros:- Cheap- No branding or logos- Quality MaterialsCons:- A little hard to dust some smaller particles off the surface, however its not that big of a deal to dock a star off for itOverall this pad is amazing for price, especially because it has no branding or logos on it and the quality of the pad. You really can't go wrong purchasing this pad for your computer.
