I use this for woodworking, I’ve had other ones in the past and it’s important to find one that fits right, is comfortable, and easy breathing. This one fits the bill and all three respects. It’s got a new style easy flow air filter, and it is almost not like wearing a respiratorat all in that respect. This one is available in large, and it’s hard to find sizes other than medium if you go to a store. But yeah, for me the large is quite comfortable. Obviously high-quality, I give this one five stars.

I LOVE this mask! I have severe chronic nerve pain originating in my cervical spine (neck), so wearing a respirator in my woodshop (a necessity) is painful for me. Most respirators rely on a tight neck strap to ensure a good fit. Unfortunately, makes it difficult for those who have neck injuries to follow safety guidelines. However, this mask relies more on the strap going to the top of your head to ensure a good fit, meaning I can have the neck strap adjusted to be comfortable WITHOUT sacrificing my safety/the fit of this respirator (the seal test button is great for putting this to the test)!About that button: I'm so glad they included the seal test button because the filters for this mask have such high airflow that without the seal test button I would think that I hadn't actually inserted any filter cartridges! It barely even feels like I'm wearing a respirator, which is amazing! Plus it's sleek design keeps my field of view clear and makes wearing this respirator with a shield in visor way more manageable than other models.It is a bit pricy and I can see that the new filter connection type is a basically just an excuse to require people to buy all new types of arbitrarily higher priced filters.Still, I think it's amazing![To anyone else reading this: please make sure you have a proper fit and that all safety instructions are being followed, please do not take my experience as fact without testing it for yourself and your usage case.]

This is the new, more superior version of 3M haft face respirator and after using it continuously, everyday for more than a month, I absolutely love it! Here's why.1/ Way easier to breath. I usually wear respirator for hours and my other respirator forced my lung to work so much harder (even with clean filters) than normal because air only comes in 2 ways. Sometime i got dizzy standing up straight after doing labor work for some time. That does not happen with this one. This respirator not only has 4 ways for air to come in, but bigger air intake openings as well!2/ People can now hear me talk! With old respirator, people can hardly hear what i said behind the mask, only low volume, mumbling sound that's hard to understand. To conversate, i have to undo the mask to talk, which is a little bit inconvenient. With this one with the built-in diaphragm, i can now talk normally with mask on and people can hear me well.3/ Easy and intuitive way to attach filters. With old respirator, i have to line up the filter's opening and twist it to lock. Few times i twisted it in wrong direction and it already messed it up the plastic connection. With this, that becomes so easy. Just push it in until you hear a click and that's it!4/ Checking airtight seal around your face is now a bit easier. Just pushed the big front center button, breathe in to check and that's it!Overall, i would definitely buy this again over any other haft-face respirator and you should too!

After seeing Ryan Cook review a dust mask and mention this one I bought it. I've tried about a dozen masks over the years for chainsaw carving and woodwork and this is by far the best fit for me. Kind of large bridge of my nose 5"11 200 lb and bought the large. Very soft silicon seal. I'm impressed and wish I found it sooner.

Picked this up for flux-core welding. Very happy with the clearance under a welding helmet.

The mouth cup is relatively the same size as the 6000 series but the straps are considerably shorter especially around the neck. I dunno when they are gonna wakeup and realize some people are over 6ft tall and have larger faces then this, I can barely get it on my nose if I wear it properly and have to end up resting it on my chin IMPROPERLY to get a seal around my nose. Fit's men of average/medium build between 5'7-6ft but large muscular necks or big tall burly types you're outta luck here guys. Still better then nothing so I use it improperly but maaaan those neck straps cut off circulation from how short they made them. Stick with the 6000 series they are the the best overall until they made improvements on these 800s. Airflow however is FAR superior to previous generations and you can work up a sweat and still be breathing normal with these.

good fit, at least for me.bought to replace an old M3 (prob 10 years now?) that has a partially head strap torn (still usable, but not as comfortable).good fit for me.was welding 6013 up-close and didn't feel any smell which means it's sealing good.
