I bought this product thinking it would be a good alternative for my sick mother-in-law to call us to her bedroom when she needed our help, since her voice is very fragile. The whistle is incredibly loud, crisp and clear. It does have a far carrying sound, which makes it excellent for outside sporty usage. But for indoors use, it is too loud and uncomfortable for the user. It is painfully loud indoors and creates that ringing noise that deafens one for a few minutes. It is also a little more bulky than I imagined, making it unwieldy. But it is a good, durable, product that does what is promissed, only too well. It just isn't appropriate for use inside small enclosed spaces, especially by small fragile elderly people.

super duper loud

We use this in our gym at our small school. It’s pretty loud even on the lower setting. It gets the attention pretty quickly. I think if it was used outdoors it wouldn’t be as ear piercing.

Best investment as a recess monitor this is loud enough that the other 4 monitors don’t need to blow their whistles.

This is not an electronic whistle it’s an alarm that is unbelievably loud so I’m unable to use it in my P.E. class even with 60 very loud children.
