its a great belt harness for the price, u can't beat that, its snugged and has extra room to loosen up, im 145 lbs 5'4" in height. its good quality. got it to climb trees to cut limbs around house, so will help save my life. im confident in the quality of that rather spending 500 for name stuff.

Amazingly Comfortable and Strong
I ordered this with worry on how it was going to work and would it be comfortable. I just spent 2 hours descending out of a tree and swinging around the tree. It was unbelievably comfortable and I felt completely contained and safe. I weigh 245 lbs. I'm not what you would call fit but I am strong. It was unbelievably fun and I only came in once it started getting dark and I started getting hungry. I plan on doing it again tomorrow. If you are like me and a completely inexperienced tree climber make sure you do your research. I spent a good 10 hours researching how to descend before attempting it for the first time. Then I spent time doing it only one or two feet off the ground confirming my rope and my harness until I went way up and started coming down and it is super fun. I would highly recommend this harness and my research tells me that many of the other ones for sale here on Amazon are nowhere near as good as this one. I have not been paid by the merchant or the manufacturer.

Excellent value for a budget minded harness
By comparison, my main saddle is a MonkeyBeaver, with a 2nd climbing saddle, the NewTribe twist. The MonkeyBeaver is a phenom rig, top-of-the line. Built for the working climber; the arborist. The Twist is not configured for working in trees. It's designed just for climbing. It doesn't have D rings for lanyard connection etc. This CroSight saddle is something of a hybrid between those two. I wanted an inexpensive backup harness for the odd light-duty tree work when I'm not really planning for it and don't have my MonkeyBeaver. The quality of the build on this saddle looks very good. Stitching is crisp and extensive with no flaws that I can find. I'm used to dual rope bridges so I added a 2nd rope bridge using two Petzl Open Rings, and a 35 cm replacement eye to eye bridge made for a sequoia saddle. Works great. This CroSight is very inexpensive. I've mentioned the quality looks good. What don't you get that you do with the 10x cost of a MonkeyBeaver? You want have quick release buckles on either the waist or the leg strap. Quick releases make it really easy to put a saddle on or take it off and keep your sizing dialed in from one use to the next. You won't have that luxury with this CroSight (or the Twist). This CroSight isn't as adjustable and the waist and leg supports aren't as wide or as thick (cushioned) as the MonkeyBeaver. That's also true for the NewTribe twist. Lastly the life-support attachments are better designed in the MB saddle, more of a shared loading between lets and waist. For the CroSight, it's more load support by the leg straps than the waist/back. The D-rings are also just a little too far back for my preference. You get what you pay for. Decent. Workable. Not many frills. What you will get is a pretty darn good saddle with a bridge and D's for your rope and lanyard. Lots of attachment points are built in. I also added a CampKilo quick clip device for a saw, but be aware the main webbing is stitched to the wide "belt" part all around. There is only one spot right behind the D rings that permits attaching anything like a quick clip device. That's about where I'd want the quick clip anyway. For me, this CroSight saddle tends to want to fall down my waist even when I have the attachment leg band straps loosened. It's harder for me to really cinch the waist belt down snug. I might add a shoulder harness rig to help balance out the saddle. Even with my mods, I now have a backup light-duty saddle for about 1/4 the price of the top-of-the-line saddle (the MB). You get a pretty darn good saddle that you can work with, especially for occasional use. It will also work well for just climbing. I added about $90 of mods and for about $150 have a backup, light duty-working rig that will more than suit my needs. Addendum: I replaced the stock leg loop connectors (buckles) with two AustriAlpin cobra retrofit quick connect buckles (CE rated to 11kn). This makes the saddle much easier to put on and take off and the loops are now always sized properly for me My mods weren't necessary but with them I have a GREAT saddle that I use more often than I planned, all at a very practical cost. The stock saddle is more than worth it. Even with a stock saddle you need to spend some time dialing it in to fit your frame and style. The mods just take that to another level. I've very pleased with my "upgraded" saddle and would purchase this again if needed.

Felt confident
Used for climbing one tree with spikes and steel core flip lines. Seems to be nice quality and I felt confident but I didn’t know what I was really doing either so not an expert reviewer.

so far so good
my husband is very pleased with the comfort of this belt. He is able to put pretty much all his gear on it and his chainsaw. He said it would help to have a strap like a belt in the very front to help even out weight loads but other than that he is very impressed!

Haven’t got to try it yet, but I checked out the stitching and strapping and buckles. Everything seems pretty heavy duty and built. Well. I’m sure they’ll do just fine. Fits great on me too.
