Japanese know how to make swords and knives better than anyone else in the World. And Sugimoto is among the best of the best. We own 3 sizes, small, medium, which is this one, and large. Amazingly, they stay sharp for years without using the sharpening stone. These can cut meats, fish, produce like nothing else. "Cuts like butta!" Quite literally, they will cut though meats and other foods like cutting through butter! The stuff from Germany or other places can't compare. This IS possibly the best knife to use in the Kitchen in the World! And I don't own stock in the Company!

NHKの番組「きょうの料理亅を視ていると後藤アナが番組内で使用されていたのが目に付き、買ってみ様と思い購入してみました。アマゾンから届いた商品を見て見れば、包丁の左側面に横文字でデカデカと大きくダサい黒い文字、不要なロゴ文字だと思う。もっと言わせてもらえるなら、「下品亅にも見えなくも無い、製品自体の品を下げている。NHKの番組で使われていた杉本の洋包丁にはこんなダサい横文字など見えなかった。ガッカリ、、、。例え包丁自体、切れようが切れまいが、見た目から最低、、、。実物を手にして居たら恐らく購入しなかったと思う。私的には残念な購入商品だった。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　以上。
