Great device, terrible app and setup instructions.
Pros:High quality lock.Solid connectivity and wifi control.Fairly easy mechanical installation.Cons:One of the worst app setup and instructions I've ever experienced.After many attempts to setup the device via the app instructions, and looking it up online, I have determined that the actual procedure is completely different than the written instructions, app instructions, and even the built-in voice instructions on the lock itself.Yale should take a deep look into this and not only correct the procedures and instructions, but also fire the entire team responsible for the absolutely horrific instructions currently employed with their premium and very expensive smart locks.

Useless
Just keep on scrolling for other locks. Can’t trust Yale app OR the Apple HomeKit to lock and unlock. One app says it’s locked and the other says it’s unlocked. Reached out to the Yale support about the problem and another issue and still haven’t heard back. *insert eye roll here*Too pricey for the pos that it is.

Flaky at its best
For the price you would think theyd make a solid lock. Doesnt even have dual band pretty old tech. Auto unlock feature never works. App is very flaky. Dont get me started on the alexa integration.

I wanted to love this lock but I cant
This product is sleek looking and I wanted to love this lock. To begin it was missing a handle lock pin. Dealing with customer service was annoying and they told me to go through amazing to get part. I also had an issue with the hub. It would connect to my internet fine however it wouldn’t talk to the lock. I even tried having the hub 1 ft away from lock and I it still didn’t work. I also tried new batteries with no luck. I love the styling of the lock however if it doesn’t work then the styling means nothing. So I had to send it back.
