I thought these would be a better protein source than soy
I thought these would be a better protein source than soy, whey, etc. And they probably are. But I was expecting something crispy, like a granola bar. The main ingredient in these is dates. So they're fine, taste good, but they're mushy, like dates, and not what I really like. Anyway, if you're concerned about the cricket flour, that was undetectable.

This is a game-changer for the future of protein.
Cricket protein....awesome. I found these bars when I was looking for a protein bar with no soy. There aren't any. If there is no soy...its a fruit and nut bar, not unlike granola. This innovative bar uses a protein source that is incredibly sustainable. With severe droughts going on in most of the farmlands of the USA...using the same amount of water for beef, it produces nearly 12 times more protein. What I love about it...non-GMO, no soy, dairy free, innovative, sustainable. In case you are curious about the texture... the only way of knowing the protein source is made from crickets is to look at the label.I would have given it 5 stars for more grams of protein and a little better taste.

Okay but can be better.
A little too sweet and doesn't fill me up at all. Not worth the price.

Tastes like any other protein bar
I gave these 5 stars not because it is the best tasting protein bar I have ever tasted, but because if I didn't know that cricket flour was used in the making I would swear that it a normal protein bar. I guess I am a cricket flour eater and you should be too, so that the price will come down; that is the only drawback that I see with the bars is the price.

collect crickets
The price is way overblown for the product. I mean, you can just collect crickets yourself and eat them. Plus it's alot cheaper. Or just go to an insect vendor and get them, mix up a little bit of wheat flower, some flaxseed meal, wheat bran, wheat germ and coconut. Put in a tray for about 50 minutes and they come out like bread.
