Eskimos hunt Yetis for fun!
Yeti smeti! This Eskimo rocks! I purchased mine on a deal that had two for one price under $30. This tumbler is made of quality material and it really feels substantial in your hands. It's rugged and at 30 oz. holds a great amount of your favorite beverage. The amazing thing about this tumbler is how cold it keeps drinks. It seems like my ice refuses to melt even when the tumbler is used outdoors. I had ice last almost 72 hours later in this thing. There are some neat features with this tumbler that make it almost like a really high-end canteen that you have to have nearby at all times. First, its made to fit inside most car/truck cup holders which of course is awesome. Next, it has the ability to be used with or without a straw. Although looking down at the liquid through the clear lid takes some getting used to. I've dropped mine several times and pretty much came up unscathed (dents, scratches etc.). The fun part here is all the Yeti snobs want to look down on your Eskimo tumbler because you know, "its a knock-off Yeti". Hey if you want to spend more money on a Yeti to say "look I'm cool, I have a Yeti" go ahead man! This is the US of A dude spend your money. If you want a Tumbler that works as good, if not better then a Yeti, Eskimo is the way to go. I ultimately bought a handle and some stainless steel straws to pimp my tumbler out but other than that the rest is all stock.

Simple, Clean, and VERY effective!!
Eskimo Cooler tumbler is a high quality, reasonably priced tumbler. I have only used this tumbler for cool beverages, but I have been able to fill it up and come back hours later to find my drink still delightfully chilled. I have actually found my self drinking more water now that I have been using this tumbler, simply because I don't have to dump and refill when the water gets warm and the clear lid allows me to see the fill level without having to pull the top off. Thoughtful design and quality construction are the simple success story of this tumbler. I am already having to guard my tumbler so my son doesn't take it. He has asked for it several times and I have had to go find it a few times as well. I will likely be buying another one of these just to keep him away from mine. I am also considering buying another to use with hot drinks, not because I think there would be any issue with switching between hot and cold drinks in this tumbler, but rather because I typically find myself alternating between hot and cold drinks throughout the day and I don't want to have to choose which one I want in the tumbler... then my only challenge will be remembering which one had the hot and which had the cold beverage.... Maybe I will get a couple of cool decals to dress up the stainless exterior and uniquely identify my hot and cold beverages of choice.

Yeti schmeti!!
My brother has the Yeti brand 30 oz tumbler and I've been wanting one due to it's ability to keep drinks cold all day long, I just couldn't justify spending that much money on it. When I discovered the Eskimo tumbler, during a search on Amazon, it had wonderful reviews and people had already done the comparisons and could find little differences, even in appearance. I was still somewhat skeptical but figured since there were so many great reviews I had nothing to lose, so I purchased one for myself and one for my husband. I was way too excited when they arrived. I immediately cleaned them and put ice and water in mine, which was around 9pm. The next day at 9pm the ice I put in my tumbler the night before was still holding up even with me adding water throughout the day. I seen another review that mentioned the cup didn't hold ice more than 15 hours, that wasn't my experience as mine held ice more than 24 hours. My husband works in a hot environment 12 hours a day, he filled his cup with ice and water at 4am, when he returned home at 5pm he still had ice and was also very thankful that his drink stayed cold all day. The only thing that I dislike is that the tumbler is made in China, I guess just about everything is anymore, but I got over that once I seen how it performed. I am quite pleased with this purchase!

I have been very happy with mine
I tested this with my wife's Yetti cup. Same size. I filled each with ice and let them sit all day. This cup actually had less water than the Yetti did. I tested it with hot water and after hours both were still hot equal. I would put this up against Yetti any day. I have been very happy with mine. I use it almost every day and take it with me even when I travel which is often. The only reason for the 4 stars is due to the fact you can't close off the opening but then again you can't with Yetti either.

Don't do it! Go Yeti, RTIC, or Ozark Trail!
Even though I bought it from this seller, and it looks almost identical except there's no "Eskimo" branding on the bottom. So, I'm not sure what's going on, but this is definitely NOT anything like the Yeti...or even my friends' RTIC 30oz tumblers. We both put the same ice and same water up to the rim of our tumblers today at 5:30 in 95degree heat (mostly in an air conditioned vehicle mind you), but at 7:45 I was left with only half of the ice my Friend's RTIC and a whole lot of water. Also, I find the seal on the lid that came with it to be a horrible hassle that is hard to remove, and put on, as it constantly comes out of the track and just won't go on if it's even slightly out or twisted.Do yourself a favor...get a real Yeti (there are fake Yeti's popping up everywhere even with the Yeti logo), or even an RTIC or Ozark Trail. Unless you want a cup that makes ice cold water only to have it turn to like warm then hot in 24hrs as I've experimented with this one.

Not that great.
Stays cold definitely not a yeti. Left ice in it while I slept to see how much would melt. After 6hrs half was water. Yeti does that after about 10hrs in a hot car out in the sun. It is cold to the touch after about an hr, meaning it's not very insulated. Also has condensate up top around the lid after while.
