Slinky The Original Brand Kids Spring Toy

This slinky is hands down the best squirrel repellant I have ever had. They were getting fat and shaking all the bird seed down to ground for all their fat furry little pals. I was so over it. Whereas I love a slinky, and I did play around with this one on the stairs, it had a greater purpose in life. Now, those little furry creeps can’t climb the pole, but they do bounce a bit with the fun springiness of the Slinky. It may not be it’s intended purpose, but as an adult I had to change up what makes me happy with childhood favorites.

I saw a picture of a Slinky on the pole of a bird feeder to deter squirrels so I decided to try it: they can’t get up the pole to eat all the seeds now! They had been emptying out my feeder EVERY DAY, leaving nothing for the birds, and bird seed is too expensive! No problems now, squirrels are defeated!

I use this on my bird feeder pole to prevent squirrels from climbing up the pole and it works great! I even brought one for my Daughter’s house!

So alot of gardeners have said to try this to keep squirrels out of bird feeders. Costs alot less than baffles! Mixed reviews but for me it has worked! I think the key is to really twist it around the pole. Anyway so far so good! Now I can see the birds enjoy the food and then the squirrels just helps himself to the scraps on the ground.

How can you go wrong with the original slinky?? My 11yo was stoked to get this in his stocking. He can never keep his hands still so this is a great way for him to keep them busy. I should’ve gotten myself one because every time I walk into his room I play with it.

Got it to keep squirrels from raiding and destroying bird feeders on a pole. So far so good. Box arrived crushed, I wouldn't use it if I bought this to gift. There was a not pleasant odor and it doesn't work the same way they did when I was a kid, disappointed by that.

My grandson got a plastic slinky from the dollar store that lasted about 10 minutes. I ordered this one because it is metal. He loves it and it has lasted as expected from the slinky's I knew as a child.

We bought this slinky to put on a pole holding up a bird feeder.to dissuade squirrels from climbing up the pole. It was entertaining, and the squirrels figured it out in ten minutes.
