A lot of the reviews for this product show a beautiful sheet of either anodized (colored) aluminum or the raw sand-blasted metal surface by itself. Those are from people who have JUST received this mouse pad.Those reviews are useless to me, and to those who want to know more about it's durability and longevity. I've had my Matte Aluminum mouse pad for over THREE YEARS, Six Months, 27 Days and still counting; and I love it!! Granted the mouse pad doesn't look as flawless compared to the day I opened the box it came in.Even so, with it's worn out (almost polished) spot in the middle, visible scratches on the metal side and a handful of dents from light drops on the edges. I like the fact all those blemishes give my Aluminum mouse pad some character. I know what it's been though and it's be thoroughly used!The mouse pad is LITERALLY a 2mm sheet of Aluminum with CNC machined beveled edges on top and underneath, with a 1mm thick Faux Leather material glued on the other side of the aluminum pad for an alternate texture and firmer glide sensation for your mouse compared to the smooth surface.As far as cleaning this mouse pad you can use wet wipes or a damp towel to clean of any dust or liquid from drinks / food. IF for some reason you chose NOT to use the Teflon (brown) stickers for the bottom of your mouse as instructed by the tiny instruction sheet suggested you should do... expect the smooth metal surface to develop a thin layer of aluminum dust. It'll look like clumps of gray spots or smears on the metal surface.Which can easily be cleaned off every-so-often, and you should. Unless you like fine metal dust transferred from your hand to your clothes.If you're mouse pad has a colored surface, you'll see scratches and bare metal in the middle more quickly. It's not a lot but, without those Brown stickers on your mouse; you're basically using 5000 grain sand-paper with light force on your new mouse pad. *shrugs shoulders*Aside from those expectations, I still like my Aluminum Pad... it makes my PC work area appealing for myself and rare visits from family and friends interesting with shock and awe.=DIt's hard to see in the attached pictures but the center of my mouse pad is polished and glossy, while the outer edges are matte; with sparse hair-line scratches everywhere. If that turns you off, I don't know what to tell you; it's a METAL mouse pad, it's going to have scratches eventually!!Thankfully my pad is raw aluminum, it's beautiful all on its own. I love the smooth design of this mouse pad. My workstation desk has an odd texture and it limited mouse maneuverability. I purchased a desk mat but it still didn’t offer the glide I was looking for. This mouse pad is a game changer! My mouse now has a seamless glide and I have less pain in my wrist, arm and shoulder because of it. The look is also next level! It’s sleek and modern. Bonus: it makes my desk look fancy lol

Coming from the usual foam mouse pad, this pad is a breath of fresh air. Very smooth, no imperfections on either surface.The pad feels solid, its got weight to it. It is NOT a thin, bendable piece of metal. Its a couple millimeters thick and feels well made. A premium product.The edges look sharpened but they are dulled so there's no worry, and the edges make the pad look very smart. Subtle, but it leads to a very clean look. I got the metal grey color, the leather is black.The metal side was a little loud until I applied the INCLUDED sound-dampening stickers.These stickers are really very nice. I am glad there are two sets of four stickers for reducing noise. They work surprisingly well.I've not tried the grippy stickers but they feel like they would do the job well and secure your pad in place.The reverse leather side is firmly attached to the metal, almost built into it. In other words, no risk of it peeling off after a long time. It is not a cushioned leather, its hard but not as hard and cold as the metal side.I noticed minimal cursor drift on the leather side. Could be my mouse. But I didn't buy this pad to use the leather. Though its a nice option. A few edits to the cursor in Windows or 3rd party software might fix it. The metal side works perfectly and is VERY responsive.A favorite feature that I didn't even consider and was pleasantly surprised by - The cold metal is quite refreshing to a warm/hot palm. :+)It comes with a little fact sheet that was very well written and gave a little insight to those behind this mousepad.Thanks JEDIA. It is a nice mouse pad. The look, feel, and quality are great. However, this did take me time to get used to and I still am trying to get used to it. I am not sure why I am constantly having to pick up my wrist to glide my mouse to where I need to on the screen. I am also trying to get used to how loud it is, gliding my mouse on the metal side was NOT fun, so I switched to the leather side. I still feel like my apple mouse does not travel smoothly on this thing. Sometimes, it just feels a little unnatural to use this mouse pad. But I am still willing to keep it and give it a shot...

Pros:- Small size- looks nice- Hard surface- Double sided (although only one is remotely usable)Cons:- Super loud even with the provided stickers they suggest you stick on your mouse.- Super slow. Feels like mouse is on sand paper.Only one side of the pad is usable; the side with the faux leather veneer. ...and that's only if you put the included stickers on the bottom of your mouse. (I find this hilarious and ridiculous with my top-of-line MX Master Series mouse. ...as if the mouse is the problem.) The plain aluminum side is just too loud in all cases.However, with the stickers and using the one good side, it's not too bad.

This is just a piece of aluminum to which they've stuck a piece of foam. Not even faux leather. The foam does not cover the complete metal plate.Also, the edges are too sharp.This is not what I expected.Edit: What I got had "skala" branding. Returning it was a pain as it didn't match the product description.Also, on the shiny aluminum side, my logitech mouse was jumpy, and on the foam side, it felt too rough for daily use.

Very bad quality. As very people review creates noise on the metal side while using mouse.back side is a substandard synthetic material badly pasted which seems will fall or wear off in few days.Not at all worth the price paid.hardly a rs 150-200 product.very disappointed.
