Holy W.Bought this thing for my 2018 Wrangler RubiconJLU to use on Fender Flares. Let me just say. Ignore these reviews. This thing worked liked a charm. This was the FOURTH Rivet Gun i’ve bought and the only one that’s worked for what should have been simple project. For reference these are the fenders I bought. (also a great product) “Front & Rear Fender Flares...https://www.amazon.com/dp/ BOBN9S7V5F?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share”. This was a must have for that certain kit. Don’t hesitate great product.

great tool for installing fender upgrades on 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL
The Swpeet Poly Rivet Gun Set / Rivet Removal Tool was the perfect tool for a recent upgrade on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. The rivet removal tool made it easy to pop off the rivets from inside the fender, and the Rivet gun made it easy to install new rivets. I had to remove and replace about eight rivets per fender to install additional marker lights and fender extensions. This tool make the process easy and fast, and produced professional results. The right tool for the right job. The product description has plenty of pics of the actual product, so I am just including a pic of the final result of actual project this tool was used for.

Nice tools, cheap rivets
The tools work very good but the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the rivets are cheaply made and tend to break off prematurely. Make sure you buy extras.

Very nice kit
I had an issue on my bumper and grabbed this to attach a piece. I used liquid nail on a piece and then reinforced with this kit and a couple of rivets and its held perfectly.

I really wanted and needed this tool to work. Very disappointed.
I was working on my Jeep fender and needed to replace four plastic rivets. When I got this tool it felt very sturdy and well made.So I went to install the first plastic rivet. After a couple of squeezes on the handle it was installed.I then noticed the stem that broke off as designed to was still inside the tool. I shook it but it wouldn't fall out. I squeezed and pulled the handles and the stem would not come out. I then dismantled the tool and managed to get the stem out.I was okay with the possibility of having to do that three more times because I just wanted to get this project done and would probably never need to use this tool again.Well this was a one and done tool.I could not get it to work. This was very frustrating because now I can't finish my project and am now on the hunt for a better quality tool.I have read about this problem with similar tool of this type.I guess you just have to roll the dice and hope you get one that works more than once or twice.

Simple tool that works
This is a great little tool, especially for the price. I also like that they include a pry tool, which came in handy for popping the rivets in the hood seal I was replacing. There was a bit of a learning curve, because I had not used a plastic rivet gun before.I did have the end of the rivet get stuck a couple of times, as other reviewers mentioned. But you can simply unscrew the end of the tool to expose the part that grabs the rivet stem and use pliers to pull it out. Sometimes I just needed to pull the handles further apart to reset the tool.If you're looking for a basic tool to attach plastic parts, I highly recommend this one. I attached a front license plate bracket to my daughter's car and a hood seal on my car using this tool. The rivets in this kit actually fit better than the ones in the replacement seal.

I got it to work
I got it to work but it wasn't easy. Putting in the plastic rivets in this gun is not a easy thing to do, they want to bend and there very tuff to get into the gun. I used it on a hood seal for a Dodge Challenger and got it to work, but one of the rivet stems broke off in the gun and had to take it apart to get it out. Hopefully ill never need to use this again. If I don't ever need to use it again it was cheap enough for a one time job. maybe if it was used a bunch it would work better? I don't know? but I don't want to find out.
