Razer Kraken Pro Over Ear PC and Music Headset, Neon Yellow (RZ04-00871000-R3M1)

This headset is AWESOME FOR GAMMING AND MUSIC, I have a samsung Galaxy S4 and when I first plugged the headphone the sound was awesome, I use the equalizer because it has a lot of bass and after that the sound was just perfect!!For Gaming its perfect, its extremely comfortable, I use it for almost 3 hours of gaming and no pain on any ear, I use it to watch movies also and I can feel the headphone but I dont feel any pain, I sleep with the headphone ones whenever I was watching a movie and by the time I woke up I didn't feel any kind of pain.The microphone its actually pretty good, everybody can hear me clear whenever I'm playing Dota 2 or anything, just look up on youtube how to set up your windows recording sound to get the best sound quality out of the mic.AND THE MIC WORKS ON ANDROID! I can actually send voice messages through whatsapp and talk by phone call to everybody through the mic and it is really well accurate and for any call there's no need to take the mic out. yeah... these babies work on a cell phone... MP3 player... Any object that takes the mini 3.5mm plug... i.e. Android/iPhone. and the cable comes split an adaptor that changes the input from a single wire to a double wire for the front end sound ports to your PC. This is just one major multi use headset... and talk about durability. I'm in a wheelchair and I run over the wires all the time and they stay intact. I rank it a 5 and if you want sound canceling headset you can't beat it. Cell Phone and Vo/IP or anything with a talk back button like Skype on your pad or whatever... this headset is just a marvelous piece of work for the price. The sound quality is great. there's just so many things I can say about this particular headset I'd run out of room. Oh... one last thing. The microphone is on a wire wrapped extension that allows you to push the Mic into the left ear piece flush with the actual headset making it "disappear". Of course there is enough of the Mic to pull it back out if you need it. I hope you enjoy this headset as much as I like mine. In fact I own 2 sets I own the Kraken Pro stereo headset and also the USB Kraken 7.1 headset which is adjusted by Razer Synapse. That's a great headset for gaming you excellent true surround sound.. I suppose, until they come out with 8.1 THX or Dolby or whatever they're going to switch formats to.... I hope you enjoy this headset.

I've been using the Razer Kraken Pro headphones for a year now and I highly recommend them to anyone, they are a very light, very comfortable and very good looking pair of headphones.They have excellent sound quality and are very ideal for gaming and listening to music. The headband's layer of cloth feels good and comfortable on my head and is good looking. The cushions are nicely padded, feel very comfortable and they create very good isolation. It is recommended to stretch the headband before an extended use but they still feel great without doing it if you're going to use them for just a few hours. The retractable microphone is also very good looking, works well and you can easily adjust the position of it. The 5.1 Surround Sound System works very well especially for gaming and it can be adjustable via the Razer Surround software, which also brings a range of useful sound settings and a customizable EQ that can easily enhance the already excellent sound they bring.They have a very good price for what they are, so if you're looking for a nice pair of headphones for gaming or music this is definitely an awesome choice.Razer has done an amazing job with these headphones!

This is my first headset with a mic and decent speakers. I bought this because:1. I needed something that would work with my laptop combo mic/stereo jack.2. I wanted better sound quality, for the microphone and stereo sound.3. Surround sound capability.Pros:-Comfortable pads and head-grip pressure. No really. It feels great. It's a pleasure to put these on.-Nice mic quality.-I like the look and build quality. It's a nicely built product.-It has decent sound isolation from the external environment. You can barely hear someone talking to you in the same room with these on with nothing playing. Less so with music or a game going.Cons:-Sound bleeds from speakers to the microphone. I don't have my volume up that high, and the microphone picks up the sounds from my headset and sends it over the mic. Not ideal. I get friends mentioning that they hear feedback from the kraken speakers. I noticed that when using this with my phone that people ask if I'm on a headset for some reason (maybe it's the feedback?).-The bass is too heavy. I tried lots of settings from the Razer software to tone it down but it's really bassy. I play CS:GO, and I've gotten used to it, but these speakers have an overbearing amount of bass when it isn't expected. I like electronic music with bass, and I have a good subwoofer, but this set lays on the bass, and detracts from its quality in my opinion.-I'm not sure why the earmuffs fold in. It doesn't save much space, it looks weird, and makes me think it's going to break. It doesn't lay flat when you fold it in. It's just an awkward feature. Maybe I missed something in the user guide... But I don't like how they fold inward.Conclusion:I got used to the gratuitous bass for gameplay, and use my external speakers if I listen to music at a high quality. Try this one out if you want a headset for gaming. I would not buy this if you want a good quality phone headset, or for a high fidelity audio experience. You can get better quality earphones/monitors with much better sound if you don't need a mic at this price point. I am happy with my purchase, it fits my purposes. Overall the comfort wins out over the cons for me.

This is the greatest headset I've ever purchased. The padding for the ears is so soft and fits completely around my ears. You don't find this anywhere else. The bass is incredible and the headset itself is more then comfortable. It won't work with a PS3 unless you get one of those converters to convert it to USB, and it's does not come with the Audio/Mic Splitter Adapter but I don't mind.If you need a headset and you are willing to spend a little more money then usual, this is worth the extra money because this (like I said) is the most amazing headset I've ever used and I've used many different headsets.
