Works, but not perfectly.
Fits my M&P 2.0 Sub-Compact well, maybe a bit too well. It hangs onto the trigger guard and snaps on loudly. It fits in your pocket and holds the pistol grip end up well. However, it allows the gun to print and hangs on tightly when drawn. You have to draw it so it hooks the pocket and yank to get it to unsnap.. Sometimes it goes flying. That won't matter if you need to draw, but you might lose the holster. If it didn't snap on quite so tightly, I would like it better. As for printing, that is a problem with any holster, so just check yourself and dress accordingly.

Pretty much as minimal as a pocket holster can get
I have a Kahr PM40 that I normally carry with one of these even though it's small enough that it works fairly well even in slightly bulkier pocket holsters. I was pleased to find that this holster allows me to fit my M&P 40 compact in my pocket as well. It does the main job of protecting the trigger perfectly well. Sure, there are times I'll carry a 1911 or full size M&P in a Milt Sparks VM2, but it's nice to have the option to quickly toss this in my pocket without as much fuss.Note that it does require fairly large and deep pockets to be workable. I find that most of my Duluth Trading shorts, pants, and jeans work great.

Very difficult to draw, will not hook on to pocket as advertised even with much practice.
