I bought it to transmit video signal of what I am recording with my BMPCC4K and my Ronin-S to other people on the recording team, in real time. Shortly after browsing the application options, I found that there is an update of BENBOX firmware V1.2.8, I recommend updating it to this version, since it seems to improve the connection between the Benbox and the devices. I've been using the Inkee Benbox for a couple of days and these are my insights:Pros: I have had no problems on my Windows laptops and my Samsung Galaxy S6, S8 and S10 phones. It was very easy to install and run on 3 devices at the same time. The application has very few options, but they are enough for other people with other devices to appreciate the recording, wirelessly. It has a very low latency, which is almost imperceptible. I have not tried going 100 meters away, but the signal transmits perfectly well at a distance of about 10 meters, which is more than enough for what I need. The weight is minimal and it is easy to place it directly on the Ronin-S, it even works to balance it very well since it can be easily installed on an arm with this Universal Gimbal Counterweight (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product / B07NYR312W / ref = ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00? Ie = UTF8 & psc = 1), I don't install it directly on the camera to avoid adding weight to the gimbal as the BMPCC4K and a Canon 24-105mm 4L lens are too heavy.Cons: these are some small issues that do not influence my assessment of the device. In an Apple Powerbook the video image was not very smooth, it may be because the computer is about 5 years old. I tried using it on a Huawei phone but the phone could never detect the network signal from the Benbox so I couldn't test it on that phone.I have not yet tested the operation of the camera through this device, as it is not compatible with the control protocol of my BMPCC4K.I find it an excellent device for professional use for the price compared to the Accsoon CineEye Air 5 GHz and the Hollyland Mars X, which offer the same but at a higher cost. There are many other more professional gadgets, but almost all of them have to be added the weight of a battery to make them work. The advantages of this device is that it is not heavy, it has an internal battery and it does not have external antennas, it is the lightest I have found which does not increase the weight of the Ronin too much with all the devices that are added to it. The total weight of the Ronin-S with everything you see in the picture, is almost 12 pounds.

I spent the whole day trying to get it to work via the USB port, but it wasn’t until 2am that I looked online and saw a pic of the hdmi being used that I tried that… and duh it worked. I’m using the Sony A6300 and I don’t have the ability to press record from the inkee app, but aside from that it works fine. I had to also change my camera hdmi resolution to 1080 from 4k/2k otherwise no image would show when I press record on the camera, only live viewing. I connected an iPhone and an iPad. Latency was no big deal, and the image was sharp. Great buy. I’m going to recommend to all my budget videographers.

I absolutely HATE using the apps for my cameras because they are so slow and buggy (both Canon and Sony).I also hate using external monitors, because you can't control the camera from them.This is the perfect solution, and is such a great price.This lets you monitor your camera with your phone AND control the basic functions at the same time with no bugs or lag like the mobile apps give you. It's exactly what I needed.It works perfectly on my 5D Mark IV and my M50, allowing me to control the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed.Once I'm set up, all I want to do is be able to change the ISO and hit record, and this is perfect.Plug in the HDMI and proper USB cable, and then to set it up, you turn it on, then connect to the "Benbox" wifi signal. Open the Inkee app and hit play, and you're rolling.

So, I'm kind of weird and don't like cables running all up and down my rig or stabilizer or gimbal or jib. I also just cut out eight extra pounds of monitors and accessories I don't have to haul around. My phone and my iPad transform into camera, confidence, and client monitors. Plus wireless into OBS. It's working great for me, no major issues and battery life for me has been longer than sited by Inkeee. I use it with the BMPCC 6K so the camera's HDMI monitor out options gives me those things the app doesn't, like focus peaking and false color. Don't bother with the luts in the app, use those from your camera also.

I needed a way for my clients to watch me frame shots. This little unit ticked all the boxes. It's sturdy, simple to use, can be picked up on any mobile device. I do not use it to control my camera, and for me that's a bonus as I don't want my client making changes to my shot while I'm working. Great value, I bought 2!

Picked this up for a client viewer for some shoots. This just works! Clients were impressed and I didn't have any problems with it.

Sometimes it works and then other times it just wont connect. Such a waste of time and money.

I was excited when I got this product in the mail but INKEE Benbox Video Transmitter does not connect to my iPhone 11 and also tired it on a iPhone XR. I tried at least 50 time to connect. I waited a long time for it to connect but was stuck on the loading screen. I will be returning this product due to product not working. I really wanted to write a great review but I can't because the product connect.
