Good price-to-performance ratio
I like everything about this product, for what it is - a . Keep in mind that this is primarily a good aftershave balm and facial skin lotion that happens to have an SPF 15 sunscreen added for basic UV protection. It won't offer the same level of protection as a dedicated sunscreen/sunblock. If you're out in the sun all day or at the beach, use the right product. For a face lotion and balm, this performs great. It smells good but very mild, soothes and calms razor burn, and retains moisture on facial skin without feeling greasy. Compared with many other brands, the price is excellent. Other very good balms, such as Nivea Cooling Sensitive Skin Aftershave Balm, are less expensive, but don't have the SPF 15. I use and enjoy both, depending if I'm going to be indoors all day or not. I do wish that this product was available with menthol and in other masculine scents, such as sandalwood, bay rum, spice, etc.

Good but hard to rub in
Overall good product. I like that it has sun protection, and it does a good job of moisturizing. I appreciate how it is basically scentless so it doesn't clash with any other scents you're wearing. My only complaint is that it's a white lotion that is a little difficult to completely rub in, much like some sunscreens.

Works great, smells great!
My husband works outside sometimes in the Winter & his face gets chapped. He also tends to get redness and dry skin around his mouth after shaving. He's tried other lotions but they didn't work for him. I also wanted him to have something with a little SPF protection for when he's outside at any time of the year. I came on Amazon not really expecting to find something that would work for everything we wanted. I was pleasantly surprised to find this aftershave balm. I bought it for my hubby for his Christmas birthday and he tried it the day after. For the first time there was no redness or dry skin after he shaved! His skin looked great & he smelled wonderful! The scent isn't floral at all nor is it overpowering. The SPF came in handy as he was outside at work for a bit and even though it's Winter his face was protected. We're both very happy!

Been using this for years
For more than 10 years, to be exact. I use a little less than a pea-sized amount every day after I shower, regardless of whether I shave or not. With that rate of use, I expect a single bottle to last me around 7-8 months or so.My face can get pretty greasy so this is great cuz it absorbs well and doesn't leave my face with a greasy film. As far as texture goes, it's a little bit more on the watery side than creamy side, which probably explains why it absorbs nicely. In the off-chance that I do get razor burn, this usually helps soothe it and doesn't sting. Scent is clean and doesn't linger. I've brought the bottle along as-is on flights without ever any problems.I've found that there's a correlation between the number of zits I get as the bottle gets emptier. Nothing crazy like a puberty-stricken high school kid-- just a bump or two. So now I make it a point to shake the bottle before applying so it's not all of one thing by the time the bottle is running low. It seems to help but I can't be sure.

Smells awesome
doesn't smell like overly scented junk from the early 2000s. This smell is refreshing. I think my bald head was sweating in the sun the other day and I smelled this pleasant scent beginning to warm up on my head. It didn't smell old or anything. It was quite soothing. The consistency when you apply this is just right. It's not to thick. Plus if you are putting it on a freshly shaved face or head it'll mix well with the little bit of water that is left from your wash. I used to get the more expensive stuff at Macys. Those have a different smell, but for the most part this will be my go to. I'm glad a gave this a shot. As one other reviewer mentioned, there is not foil covering the product. Therefore I do not know if I was the first one to receive it. However, my tube looked full so that's a good thing.

Leaves skin moisturized, though redness reducing power is limited
I've tried a couple of aftershave balms with little success. I have sensitive skin and often shave in the shower to save time. This results in my face taking the abuse of my razor and I often nick myself when shaving. This aftershave balm is good, but could be improved. The good:1) It moisturizes well. I do not feel "sticky" after using it.2) Sun protection is good. I do not need to apply additional sunscreen and it appears as though the SPF rating is accurate.3) The scent is unoffensive. The bad:1) Redness reduction is limited. Those with sensitive skin may be unhappy with this aftershave lotion.2) This lotion does not address or treat shaving nicks very well. I felt as though it was merely a nice face moisturizer.I will likely look elsewhere for a lotion that is better able to address shaving redness and razor burns.
