Anyone have any idea on the appropriate size? Male, 6'1", shoe size 10-10.5. Also, can this be worn comfortably without shoes for beach vball?

I got a large. My shoe size is 12. Fits perfectly. You'll probably want a medium. For beach, I haven't tried. It might work, but I doubt it will be comfortable. It has moving parts, and if sand gets inside there, it probably won't be good. I do know somebody who has used a non-active ankle brace on sand (one of those cloth ones with lots of laces), and he says it was manageable, but the sand got everywhere.

Will this brace help me with my vertical jump?

Well, I suppose it might if, as a result of the increased stability, you then went out and worked on your vertical; or if you put the brace in shoes that have springs in the soles.

Can this brace be worn with boot in the winter?

Hello! If you've got quite a bit of room in the boot, the brace would probably work alright, but if it's a tight fit already the brace may be quite uncomfortable as it could push into your skin.
